I've been going here regularly since they were located downtown. Excellent food, great service by staff that's been working there a long time and great music. I've been taking friends here for a long time and it's always excellent reviews.

Simply the best cajun restaurant west of the Mississippi. This establishment has a long history in Phoenix, having moved from the Biltmore area 10 years ago. The quality is still awesome. Make sure you come in the weekend to hear the live Blues music.

I've been here a couple times with my friend. Excellent service, tasty food, for a good price. I've had the gumbo and the catfish. Both were excellent and I'll be back

I very much enjoyed the Chicken/ Sausage Gumbo. It was a fun environment. Was easy to carry on a conversation and still hear the music.

Our first experience after being on our list-to-try for the last 5 years was epic. It was on Fat Tuesday a few weeks ago. Lots of great music, free costume jewelry and swag was topped off with outstanding Cajun Poor boys and Duck Gumbo. In addition, the Catfish sandwich was probably the best I ever had. I highly recommend this place for the great food and service.... anytime.

This place is decorated like a Bourbon Street fever dream. Once you look outside of the kitsch, this is the best Cajun food I've had since moving to Arizona.

I went for FAT Tuesday. The bar drinks are NOT traditional recipes and when my Hurricane had coconut in it the waitress kindlyboffereed to change it. It was BUT it was the SAME. I didn't get charged fir tge first one snd didn't drink either...disappointing. I'm a NOLA regular and this food only barely resembles the real recipes. The bread is nothing even close to a crispy baguette on their Po'Boys or garlic bread. Sorry but I won't be back. The live guitar player was enjoyable and added to the atmosphere. I told them no fries in my alligator clam basket and that's ALL that filled the basket. I had to search for the 4 pieces of alligator and clam pieces. In NOLA you get a big dish of perfectly cooked alligator, but not here. The Crawfish etouffe was all rice and no spice. I'm still looking for the crawfish. Next year I'll make the long drive to Pappadeaux's on I-17 for real Creole/Cajun food and drinks. Don't waste your money here.

Love the food here. We first came here several years ago for our anniversary. We love the gumbo and jambalaya, and if you don't finish with a slice of chocolate cake, you are missing out! I don't care if you are full! Get it to go! Save it for tomorrow. You're welcome! We get a slice every time we order our usual.
