Backyard Taco - Mesa East

Cafeteria style, order at counter get number then food in tray go to seat. Food is good and authentic Mexican taste and style. Nice for a quick meal. It is clean as are the restrooms.

My husband and I went backyard taco and the street taco meat was completely cold.Said something to lady up front counter she didnt seem to care.

Hadn't been to this location in a long time because they'd accidentally given me someone else's food twice in a row, once through DD and once in person.

I'd forgotten until I went back yesterday and got tacos instead of the burrito I ordered. Bummed because their food is great!

Most of the time it's great but this time service was bad asked for a combo plate and they ended up ringing everything separately so I payed way more than it should have

Last Friday my wife and i went for tacos at the mesa fast food restaurant and we learned about the bell. if you TIP THEY DO TOUCH THE BELL, but if you don't TIP they give you bad service and burn food. I've been a customers since they opened the first restaurant in mesa. I never have to leave a TIP to received a good service.

There steak burrito is amazing!! Definitely recommend

Food was subpar. The best part of the meal was the chips and bean dip. The gordita was overall soaked in oil to where it was dripping onto the plate

Pricing for quality is slightly high but it’s convenient and tasty enough. The service is always pretty meh at best, some teenager who cannot hear your order because they’re blasting music is usually the issue, but what spurred the review this evening is really I’m two for two on bad service so I’m actually holding people accountable. I’ve worked the food industry, I’ve worked retail, I’m no boomer who wants my butt kissed time I go somewhere, but when I ask “what’s in this item?” In the drive thru, the answer isn’t “it’s on the menu” if I could find it on the menu do you think I’d be asking you? Also no, it isn’t. Maybe online but not the short and concise drive thru menu. Also if you have to say “what” 5x for each thing we say to you when we’re at the window to pay, maybe your music is too loud inside.

Waited 12 minutes before eating because sour cream wasn't upsold at register nor is there any formal listing under sides with price. Then to be robbed on the portion!!

I like the Al Pastor and Birria the most. I prefer a bowl, but I love how you can choose corn or flour tortillas for your tacos.
I didn't take a photo, and I only have done the drive thru. It is a nice drive thru

I ordered a Carne asada bowl and the pieces are like leftover pieces off the grill doesn't even look like they're cut. Just pretty much small little grindings I asked for a Carne asada not ground beef grindings of left over meat from someone else's order. I believe the reason why I was dished to bowl like that is because of prejudices. It's the most sad looking Carne asada bowl I've ever seen
