Bahama Buck's - Mesa (N Higley Road)

I usually try to leave positive reviews, but this store has failed me within the last few weeks when it used to be just fine. I went to Bahama Buck’s recently and unfortunately the service just wasn’t great. The employees didn’t seem very attentive, and it took a long time to get helped even though there was just 1 other car in the line so it was not busy. When I finally got my order, it didn’t feel like the usual quality from other locations. It was so juicy. it just seemed rushed and not prepared with much care seems like its always something lately here

I called to order snow for my child's birthday party, however, I realized that the store would not be open in time for me to pick it up before the party started. The manager, I believe her name is Allison, said she would gladly come in early to get the snow ready for me and we could come pick it up before the store opened. Amazing customer service. Thank you so much! It was a huge hit.

I’ve given this shaved ice spot a few tries.. it was decent at first but the past few months it’s always the same old story. The service is super slow, and the staff doesn’t seem to care much, management is mia, because nothing is ever is different or improved.
Honestly, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for your shaved ice fix. This place just isn’t worth the hassle.

Stopped in while doing some stuff at my mom's house and got the mango strawberry creme and it was flippin fantastic! It's always a nice treat and better for you than ice cream. So many concoctions that you can create on your own and then there are also pre determined flavors, either way is a win win. Make sure to add the cream if they ask you, it really is a must and adds that extra touch, you won't be sorry. I hope they never close.

I love this location! There is a drive thru! Pretty fast service. Many options- sugar free, natural syrups! Games are in the corner for kids while parents wait.

If I can give negative I would. I already sent over a contact us on your website as well. Horrible service.
Edit: after reading the other negative reviews over the last month I’d say it seems there is a continuous problem. Lack of respect and lack of work ethic. Won’t be going here again

I took my teens there for the first time and they enjoyed it! They will definitely be back to try other flavors.

I’m shocked this location has more than 1 star overall. We came tonight and there were three workers. When we walked in one of them said it’d be “7 minutes” since it was backed up and he couldn’t take our order yet. We sat for twenty minutes while ONE of the workers made orders and the other two stood around and chatted. The boy working with a bleached buzz cut literally just loudly chatted about social things the whole. After twenty minutes with not taking our order, but taking mobile orders and drive thru orders we left. In that twenty minutes they only made 3 shaved ices for other people. Just go to the other Bahama bucks location, it’s not worth it to go here. Management needs to teach their employees how to do their jobs. I’ve worked in food service and I never leave reviews but this was actually shocking how bad the service was.

Ive been visiting the Mesa & Southern location for years now and have never had any problems and every shave ice is done correctly to perfection every time.

**This location, not so much. All 3 of our drinks were half white snow. Plain, not flavored at all. This was very disappointing for us as we are big fans of Bucks. Tons of kids working the place that NEED TRAINING.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND CONSIDERING VISITING BAHAMA BUCKS, GO TO MESA DR. AND SOUTHERN. SERVICE AND QUALITY IS ON POINT! We have never had one complaint about the location at Mesa and Southern.

The employees were kind, but unfortunately my order was messed up in a serious way. I requested sugar-free strawberry, but they gave me the regular version. I noticed right away because the consistency was different, but they insisted it was sugar-free.

Now I’m feeling nauseous, have a severe headache, and my glucose is at 200 — all because of this mistake. This isn’t just a small mix-up; it could send someone to the hospital.

I wish I could give this location zero stars. It’s the closest one to us, so we’ve visited regularly—but after this experience, we won’t be returning. We ordered five shaved ices and ended up waiting over 20 minutes. One came out quickly, but then nothing. About 10 minutes later, an employee handed us the second and asked if we were waiting for anything else. My husband said, “Yes, the rest,” and she looked visibly annoyed before walking away.

Over the next 10 minutes, we watched the staff playing around with other customers. One employee even made herself a cup of ice cream and left. When he first girl eventually returned with the remaining three shaved ices, I asked what had happened. Her response? “We’re really busy.” I pointed out that it didn’t seem that way, considering the lack of urgency and the fact that an employee had time to make herself a cup before walking out. The explanation- “well she’s clocked out.” Honestly, if she’s off the clock, she shouldn’t be behind the counter distracting the staff. Completely unprofessional.
