We ordered iced matcha lattes, a vegan burrito, and a vegan muffin. Everything was delicious, but the star of the show was the burrito which was mouthwateringly good and filling. Highly recommend!

I actually really enjoyed my experience at Bak and Jo. I got a vegan breakfast burrito and it was delicious, as well as an oat milk matcha latte. I was able to hang around to do some work on my laptop too.

Super friendly, informative staff who are ready to prepare a coffee you'll enjoy, if not... love. They have a nice selection of breakfast and desserts to satisfy your tummy.

We stopped in for a coffee. All the drinks we tried were great. The Vietnamese coffee was nice & strong. The staff was all amazing, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Not just a coffee shop! Everything we have tried here are quality products. The leak parm pastry is my favorite. The folks that work here are so genuine and that's where we want to spend our money.

This was our first time visiting BAK&JO. We were greeted warmly by the staff and they helped us with food and beverage recommendations. The coffee and breakfast foods were delicious and high quality. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too. Wonderful service! We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area!

Had lunch here yesterday and was so surprised to find this quaint spot less than a mile from home. Loved the open space for seating, gaming, or just sitting in comfortable chairs to visit. Service was great, food excellent, and prepared on site. Vegan and GF choices was bonus. So glad to have a quality choice in Mesa! Will def be going back.

They have a very limited vegan selection of baked goods. All the cookies and cakes are also gluten free. I bought a small cake. The best I can say is it edible but I would never buy it again.

Did you know inside of Bak & Jo in Mesa there is a vegan and gluten free baker??? Sweet Simon Cakes is the name. In the case daily, they have mini cakes called Bento cakes (chocolate and vanilla with sprinkles, perfect for the last minute I need a cake 😉), single cupcakes and huge cookie sandwhich - ALL VEGAN & GF !!! You can also call ahead and request something custom. Now IMO the frosting is on the sweet side BUT I also mostly eat unrefined sweetened foods and lightly sweetened drinks as well but the flavors are there and most people have that sweet tooth so it won’t be too much for those types 😂 Yesterday we finally made it to Bak & Jo and even though they are not fully vegan they have really delicious breakfast/lunch options as well that also include gluten free options. Honestly probably one of the best tasting breakfast burritos I’ve had (requested to be made on a gluten free wrap), just notify if you have an intolerance or allergy. Also devoured by my 7 year old who is just as a foodie as I am. The staff is really friendly and informative as to what was vegan and what was not and everything in the displace case is properly labeled. I honestly can’t wait to try more treats.
