I have doing biz in Korea for 20 years and have lived there for a period as well. This is the closest authentic Korean food I have found in Arizona. I regularly go here when craving some home cooked Korean food. 아주 맛있어요.!
Great Korean food, it was all very good. Service is what you might expect, you have to wave down staff every time you need something, water, refill on ban chan, etc… just don’t expect them to check on you. But I can deal with bad service if the food is awesome. We got the Korean BBQ ribs, rice cake and dumpling soup.

Ordered a spicy pork bulgogi for dinner and while I was eating. I felt a sharp prick inside my mouth so I ended up spitting it out. Turns out it was a metal wire. I had to stop eating because I didnt know if there were more inside my food. If Im paying 25+ dollars for food, I'd at least expect it to be safe to consume and not contaminated with metal wires. I even told and showed it to a server here and she shrugged it off and ignored my comment. Extremely disappointed with this place because I heard the food tastes good here but what's the point of tasting good, if it ain't safe to eat.

I went because the reviews were good, but the food wasn’t tasty… .. The people in the store are friendly. I ate beef stew, tripe stew, seafood and green onion pancake, and seasoned cheonyeop. The broiler sauce tastes like Multan. It's hard to see any tripe in the hotpot, and there's only vegetables and tofu... Seafood and green onion pancakes are thick with flour… . very disappointed

AWFUL SERVICE! The food wasn't good enough to make up for being actively ignored, never getting more water (in this heat, get real???), and then having a server finally coming over to tell me I was eating wrong (????) before ignoring us again. I will not ever be returning to this establishment, and everyone I come across will get an earful about how unbelievably rude the service was. Additionally, the amount of people in this review thread stating they received wonderful service leads me to believe my race was the only reason I had such a bad experience. Black people should take this as a warning to go elsewhere!

Hole-in-the-wall family-style Korean restaurant.
Menu has a variety of Korean dishes, as well as soju and imported beers.
We had the mandu and spicy BBQ pork - served frying hot.
Side dishes are inventive and jogged our tastebuds from salty, to bitter, to sour and sweet. Excellent start to our meal.
Another good sign: Plenty of patrons of Korean background.
