Boy-oh-boy how we love the food at Bavarian Point! His scampi is my favorite in Arizona. His scampi is better than almost every Italian restaurant between Phoenix and Tucson. My wife Lori loves his sausage lunches, open-faced Reuben and more traditional dishes. The Strudels are memorable. The service is excellent and more importantly, the courtesy and tolerance they show to our behaviorally-challenged Special Needs ADA young adult son is extraordinary. The owner always treats us as family and his raspberry whiskey is a sweet fetish every bit a vice.

Love the food. Salad bar is always a little less than desirable. If they could keep it clean and full, it would be much better. But overall, great food and good experience.

Server was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had two different schnitzels and my husband had the braised pork shank. Very delicious!

Came here for a meet up with a friend of mine. Wanted to try something new and found this little gem. The food reminded me of eating traditional food growing up and was delicious!!!

Authentic German fare with the best quality items in the Phoenix area. Wait, They took potato pancakes off the menu if you want them you have to call ahead.? Wow, gravy is to thin and salty. Spatzel is deep yellow from eggs, yuck. Time to look for something else .

Absolutely terrible experience all around- food, service, cleanliness etc..The server smelled like she smoked about a pack of cigarettes before taking our order. We walked in and it took 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. We should have taken that as a sign to leave but decided to try it out. Nothing on the salad bar was fresh. We paid $50 for two entrees during lunch and there was nothing good about it, nothing was fresh, portions were small and quality of meat was awful. The server left with our card and didn’t come back for over 10 minutes- during that time two other couples walked in and were looking around for someone to greet them. Do yourself a favor and try Zur Kate next door!! (Probably the best German spot in the Valley)

Went there for supper last night for our 15th wedding anniversary and I'm a hundred proof Norwegian. But that German food was excellent. Never had lamb before. Waitress suggested a lamb shank. I think it was the best thing I've ever tasted. Hats off to the chef. Our waitress was excellent with great service. The only thing I would suggest is getting the name right on the internet. I am assuming it is supposed to be barbarian point with an e.

Food is good but very heavy. There is a rather basic salad bar. I prefer the soup options. Service is efficient, but don't expect a smiling waitress.
SO MANY CHOICES!!! And a whole lot of vegetarian/vegan options. We got the flautas and enchiladas, and they were amazing. If we were in Tucson for more than 2 days, we would've gone back for more. Will definitely be back if we end up in Arizona again.(One downfall- the hot sauce/default salsa was not as flavorful as other spots :/ or maybe it was an off day?? I don't know)

The food was wonderful and even better as leftovers. Nice atmosphere and great place to visit and have leisurely lunch. Our server was fun and knowledgeable. It was an awesome experience and we will be back.

One star is to much if like to be ignored when walking into a restaurant this is your place. If you like cockroaches this is your place. Health department needs to shut down this place.

Waited 30 mins for someone to notice me at the bar. Finally got a menu. After ordering my food, a roach climbed onto the bar. Will Not be back. The people around me seemed to be regulars and didnt seem bothered with the roach. I flicked it and it ran under the bar top. I do not reccomend this place.
