Boy-oh-boy how we love the food at Bavarian Point! His scampi is my favorite in Arizona. His scampi is better than almost every Italian restaurant between Phoenix and Tucson. My wife Lori loves his sausage lunches, open-faced Reuben and more traditional dishes. The Strudels are memorable. Came here for a meet up with a friend of mine. Wanted to try something new and found this little gem. The food reminded me of eating traditional food growing up and was delicious!!!
Went there for supper last night for our 15th wedding anniversary and I'm a hundred proof Norwegian. But that German food was excellent. Never had lamb before. Waitress suggested a lamb shank. I think it was the best thing I've ever tasted. Hats off to the chef. Our waitress was excellent with great service. The only thing I would suggest is getting the name right on the internet. I am assuming it is supposed to be barbarian point with an e.
