Fabulous Korean bowls!! Clean eaters will LOVE this place! I ordered the beef bulgogi classic bowl and my husband got the spicy pork bowl with every topping. If you order the hot stone bowl, besides it being extra hot, this is a dine in option only, and comes with a fried egg on top. We chose the classic bowl because we wanted our base to be a mix of spring mix, which is fresh salad greens, and we didn’t want the greens to be hot.

We tried the spicy chili sauce and I was expecting the normal thick gochujang type consistency, but the sauce was a watered down version, however, it still brought good flavor, while it is different than the normal paste usually used in bibimpop bowls. I also tried the sweet sesame sauce and it was a nice sweet touch, not spicy at all, which compliments the bowl nicely. My husband sauce choices were spicy chili and spicy bbq and it was not too painfully spicy, it was just right.

These were nice large quantities of food and my husband and I didn’t go away hungry. For under $13.00 each, I felt like this was a very good value because the ingredients are quality and they didn’t skimp on meat!

This place is a great place to grab a wholesome bowl that won’t break the bank.

Presentation could use some work for sure. For whatever reason dude stacked my bowl like upsidedown. Veggies on the bottom, rice and chicken up top. It looked like just a grey mass. Tasted half decent but I ended up throwing it away after finishing a quarter of it. On top of that most of my toppings were missing, or should I say bottoms. Place was empty which says a lot especially when every other restaurant in the block is occupied and busy at lunchtime. Chicken bulgogi was like cooked to the moon, placed into a blender and slapped onto my upsidedown bowl. Meh.

I came here tonight and was astonished by how poor the meat selections looked. The employee himself was super helpful and friendly. As i was going down the line of making my bowl, we stumbled to the meat selection and one glance at it was all i needed to know everything. The meat options themselves all looked cold and dry even with a burner beneath them which wasn’t on. I have gotten food poisoning from restaurants where i’ve questioned the meat, and i didn’t want to risk it this time. I would advise people who come here to check the meat first and for your safety ask how fresh the meat is. I didn’t even take a bite with the smell of it so pungent to the point I gagged and decided to throw it away. I will not be coming back here.

I came here at night and the food was not fresh at all. The person helping me was super nice and polite and I know it’s not his fault but the food looked like it had been sitting all day. The meat, however was the worst part. Once I saw it, I knew for a fact I would not be eating it. There was no heat underneath the pan it was sitting in and the sauce was separated and looked far from edible. I didn’t want to be rude and cancel my whole order, so I continued to order then immediately tossed the food in the trash. I was not going to take the risk of food poisoning from cold/old meat. It makes me sad because a few years ago, the food here was so fresh and delicious.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant today for lunch. It is unfortunate that we visited without checking the latest reviews. We did not order bibimbap, but cheese ramen and tteokbokki.
The staff was friendly. He made some mistakes when we ordered, but I can understand if it was just a mistake by a new employee who was alone and in a hurry.
The seats were dirty. The ramen and tteokbokki tasted really bad. I would much rather have instant ramen or tteokbokki. The portions are smaller than other Korean restaurants, but the prices are similar. The Odeng was supposed to be cut with a knife, but it looked like they just tore it with their hands. The rice cakes were all cracked, and the ramen was cooked with all the crumbles, so I had to scoop it up. The cheese added to the ramen was not the usual sliced cheddar, but a bit of shredded cheese.
When I left half of my food, the staff asked me if I liked the flavor. I felt bad, but I was honest with him. I felt bad because he asked what he could have done better and apologized. I know it’s not his fault. As he said, he was just following the recipe he was given. I think the recipe of ramen and tteokbokki should really be reviewed. It wasn't completely inedible anyway, so I managed to eat half of it because if not, it would be a waste of the money I paid.
I know, maybe the recipe was tailored to foreign tastes. Everyone's taste are different, so I'm sure some people would like this place. I respect their opinion as well. I just wanted to leave MY PERSONAL experience and feelings.
Anyway, I will definitely not be going back.

I really love Korean food and was excited to give this a try. This unfortunately is nothing like Korean with fresh banchan. I got a bowl and asked for everything. What was put on the bowl was bland and colorless, the cabbage was frozen with ice crystals. The chicken bulgogi was meh and I honestly threw away the full bowl. (I viewed the reviews and saw a bland bowl, but figured that the person didn’t ask for all the toppings offered - now I know that it wasn’t a factor, that is just how they are served.)

Staff was nice but the cleanliness was subpar and I should have known better when there was not one other patron in the restaurant.

I cannot imagine that without a complete overhaul this place stays in business.

I came here on a recommendation and honestly was very disappointed. Korean food is one of my favorite cuisines and the food here was just okay. The portions are very small for what they charge as my small bowl was maybe 3/4 full. I got jap chae as a side and it was absolutely drowning in sesame oil. To the point that hours and hours later and after other food eaten it was still all I could taste. I've had jap chae many times and it's never been like that.

This is all i recieved for 12$. Always loved there food, but portions are so skimpy and bowls are smaller. Ive been going to eat here since they opened and they've now shrunk portions have of what they were before, hardly any rice and they don't fill it up all the way. Rice really isn't expensive and it be worth it for customers if it was filled up all the way. Don't think it's worth the price anymore especially since you can get all you can eat BBQ for 30$ and 2 bowls here is 25$. Good food but way too over priced now

i'm giving this place two stars because I just found out that the tips are kept by the owner and are not given to the hard-working staff that is putting the food together. Shame on you owners. You already are getting all the profits from the sales. How dare you keep the tips and not give it to the staff members. That will be the last time I eat here. And frankly the food's good and the service is excellent. But that shady practice. boycott if at all possible or at least bring cash to give to the staff for tip.

A fine approximation of Korean food, but could use some work, especially in the quality of the meat and its preparation, to take it to that next level.

Parking: Good amount of parking, but shared with several other restaurants.

I love the food here, I just feel so bad for the employees. They are so short staffed. Every time I come in they only have one person working and they are doing their best. Seems like the owners are running this place into the ground. What a shame.

Food is ok. For a sunday afternoon we were the only ones. Some customers came in then left. Mens bathroom was disgusting. For the hour were there, from past work experience that bathroom should be spotless by the time i had gone in there after my meal.

The food was ok. I had same thing at street vendors in Seoul S.korea and Manila Philippines that was better. It was what it was. Wish there was more options and i had gotten egg over easy when i asked for over hard.

I cant be really hard cause the staff was kind and help accommodating to my kid and wife.

Edit. Became sick to my stomach after leaving and nauseous ?
