Service was good but steak was awful. We ordered the steak and lobster trio for $25.99 each. We decided to upgrade our steaks from sirloin to ribeye. Big mistake! The ribeye was very tough and full of muscle, basically a lousy cut of meat. It was extremely stringy! On top of that, when the bill came, we found out that the upgrade was an additional $17 each. For 2 people that was the cost of another steak dinner ($34). An awful lot of money for a lousy steak. If it was a good ribeye, it might have been worth it, but it wasn't. Second time there I have gotten a bad steak. I give up, never going to order another steak there.
Enjoyed our meal BUT baked potatoes and roasted vegetables were not available we were there at 5.30 p.m.
Our waiter was friendly and informative. I would not have known there was gluten in the seasoning for the prime rib.
We have eaten at Black angus for over 30 years and have always had a good meal, last night was different the quality of the Ribeye was horrible from the color to the taste. Very uncommon for Black Angus.
I was very dissappointed in our meal last night. First our waitress did not leave us any straws when we she left our waters. She brought us very flat not warm bread and seemed not excited to be serving us. The salad she brought me was wilted and browned. It tasted bitter the wagon wheel was very good. Unfortunely we did run out of water and had to wait for a while to get them refilled. Our meal was delivered by another waitress and she also brought us the steak sauce we requested. We again had a problem with our waters running dry and waiting for refills. My husband and I requested to have our Hot Fudge Cake packaged to take home since we were full when she brought it there was no chocolate sauce and the ice cream was very lacking. I also had received an email saying we could use our cow cash and $10 off so we could get $20 off the meal for two she seemed to struggle with this because it took quite a while to get our bill taken care of. We usually eat with you about every other month but after last night I will be rethinking my options for our date nights.
We all had the ribeye and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Their zucchini is always our favorite appetizer and it never disappoints. I was one of our favorite spots to eat for a nice enjoyable quiet dinner.
For the price you pay everything should be perfect! We were a party of 15 . Our waitress was spot on amazing very tentative! The food was Ok idk why you guys never season your steak! I asked for extra seasoning and of course nothing was on it, everyone who got a steak didnt have seasoning. It was way to many to send back so I didnt say anything.
We have great time with our server Diane , she ison top of serving us and drinks Roger is great too!!!! Hes the boss
It was my first time trying this place. All I can say is it was OK and I would probably not go back. Server was good. The rest of it was just fair. Bathrooms are dirty. Although it was a rainy night it was a Saturday night and they had no wait in the lobby to get in at dinner time. I will say their seasonal espresso martini was pretty good though even though it was whiskey based.
Love love love the bread! Service was amazing! Food was exactly what we ordered and perfect temp and taste!

The service and value were excellent! The facility could use a refresh - even just a coat of light paint would brighten it up.
We split the ribeye, 2 lobster tails, garlic mashed potatoes and ceasar salad. The ribeye was very flavorful but a little fatty, but that's a ribeye. Lobster was sweet and had great flavor. Mashed potatoes were excellent. Ceasar salad was one of the best restaurant Ceasars I've had. Very pleased with our meal. We paid just over $100 for dinner, double Jack, 2 glasses of wine and tip.
What a great experience at this location. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Would definitely go back again.
Best service I've had in Mesa. Aaron the server knows how to take care of customers for an amazing dining experience.
Steaks were overpriced and false advertised, Bone in ribeye was not seasoned well and not juicy as it said on the menu, lobster Mac tasted very bland and microwaved
