Visiting while on vacation. Wanting some BBQ so searched one out and landed on this one. Nice building both inside and out. We were there around lunch and were among only three couples there. We came in and both hostesses were on the phone taking orders for the Thanksgiving Dinner that you can get there. A little put off by that. Maybe could have had an office person do that. Anyways I just felt it was a little rude to make us wait. Our waiter was really nice and attentive. Took our drink order pretty quick and he gave us time to look over the menu without rushing us. The food to me was nothing special could’ve gotten the same thing at home in Missouri. I got the pulled pork with macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese did seem to be homemade. It didn’t have the fake cheese taste. My partner got the smoked pastrami sandwich on rye bread and the ranch baked beans. I do have to say that his was better than mine by far. He went out on a limb by ordering the sandwich because you usually don’t come across smoked pastrami. All in all not the best and not the worst. Don’t know if I was craving BBQ again I would go back. If I do I will definitely get the smoked pastrami sandwich with macaroni and cheese.
Great reunion group dinner of 25 or so. Server handled it very nicely with many separate checks. Food on point for most everything and no major issues. Venue wanted to put auto gratuity on all checks but the waitress smartly did not tack on 20% and was rewarded with generously left tips. I guess she made $300 plus at a minimum and well above what the auto 20% would have netted her. Food runners brought most of the food but rarely if ever knew who's food it was. Lots of repeatedly vocally auctioning of food. Food came out at different times as they were on different checks and that was fine. But they should know where and who the food goes to. Music above your head was muffled and the music was bland and more obtrusive than an enhancement to the experience. Unrecognizable stuff to me but I am in my 60's. I would say by 730pm most of the diners in the place were 40 plus and I know they were tuning out the non descript music. Again the waitress/bar manager was articulate, smiling, informative, and must be one of their best. AAA to her! The chef came to the table and was delightful. A manager dropped by to check on us. Donut machine was down and many were disappointed as I had told them about those free donuts. Cornbread was warm, buttery, and really good. Place is well lit and mostly very clean. It was busy so the restrooms should have had more attention. All in all is would a very good experience. The front of the house deserves a big thumbs up as do the cooks.
Devon was an amazing server. Food was delicious and the service was spectacular. Devon provided great recommendations along with being super attentive even with the restaurant being busy!
We went to celebrate our birthdays. Our waitress Dom was phenomenal. She was kind and patient with my 3 children. Food came out in a timely manner and she continued to check in and make sure we were taken care of. It was a great experience. She even sang happy birthday to my husband and I with our children!
The food was excellent as was the service. Prices have gotten a little high to me but there is no better brisket on the planet.
I wish I remember our server. He told us his name and I'm blanking. But he was great. He had many tables but still made sure we had everything we needed to make our experience great. It was my first time and he was very knowledgeable on the menu and suggested the twinkies and they were amazing. Everything about this place is a 10/10. I will definitely be back!!
First time in Mesa, AZ and I was graving some good BBQ. I saw the pictures and reviews and knew I had to try it. This place has a really good atmosphere, great service and the food is worth bragging about!
The smoked wings were on point, we really enjoyed how they were served. The cornbread was some of the best I've ever had! They have a nice and big menu, which made it hard, because I wanted to try it all! I had some amazing ribs with some tasty sides.
The service goes over and beyond, explaining the restaurant since we've never been there before, asking about any food allergies and being fast and attentive with a great smile throughout the whole meal. I wish I lived closer!
I will be back again!

I visited bobby q for lunch on Wednesday with some co-workers. The food was absolutely amazing! Hannah was our server. She was so welcoming and friendly. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent suggestions. The brisket and mac and cheese were our favorite. Bobby Q will definitely be a regular spot for us.

Our Bobby Q’s Adventure 🍖
Me and my buddy Chase had just wrapped up a pool tournament on the other side of town. We didn’t exactly have our best showing — but that’s a story for another day.
On the way home, hunger hit hard, so we decided to stop at Bobby Q’s for dinner. They usually hit the mark with both food and drinks, and this time was no exception. Chase’s wife Jackie joined us, and the three of us were ready to eat like champs.
Now, for context — every now and then, me and Chase can be a handful. Mostly him… okay, definitely him most of the time.
Dinner was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered came out perfect — but as good as the food was, that wasn’t the highlight of the night.
Our server, Jenni, was.
She didn’t just put up with our shenanigans — she outplayed us. Chase, deep in a post-meal food coma, joked that he wanted to talk to the manager because he needed a pillow and a blanket. A few minutes later, the manager actually stopped by, and Chase told him he was disappointed they didn’t have either.
Not even a moment later, here comes Jenni… with a pillow and a blanket.
We completely lost it. The whole table was in tears laughing.
Jenni, you were incredible. You didn’t just provide great service — you made an ordinary Saturday night unforgettable. Your energy, charisma, and sense of humor were everything. Bobby Q’s is lucky to have you on their team.
If I have one regret, it’s that I didn’t ask if you were single — it’s not every day you meet someone with your charm and that smile. Keep being your awesome self, Jenni. You definitely made a lasting impression.

We had an excellent meal and fun drinks. What's not to love about a pink drink in a pig shaped glass? The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the brisket was outstanding! We also enjoyed the loaded mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and pecan coleslaw.
Food and service was excellent.
