I appreciate the good food and great service at this restaurant chain, but I've noticed that the menu at their location off 17 is different from the others. I believe that for consistency and to meet customer expectations, all locations should have the same menu selection.

Save your money! You're paying almost the same amount and not getting the quality. I ordered the rib-eye, jumbo shrimp. I could've cooked a Costco ribeye steak better than what I was served. Not only was it not cooked well done, as I requested it didn't have any taste. Where was the seasonings?! Jumbo shrimp, not even close. The brisket nachos came piled with nachos, barely meat or cheese or any toppings. It was mine and my son's birthday celebration and the we reserved tables for the amount of guests that attended - I guess the waitress wasn't aware because her demeanor towards us, was as if we annoyed her. "Please don't ask me for anything more", is what she put out.I have spend lots of money taking my family out and I do it, so we all can enjoy a nice meal, enjoy each other company while being catered to. But to spend the money and not get good food and poor service, isn't acceptable. We paid and we tipped. But never will we return.

This by far the best BBQ in Arizona! From the pecan coleslaw to the nachos that are simply out of this world to the BBQ. Far better than that other little bbq place in town.
Was in Mesa and tried this location (I normally go to the Phoenix location). I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this location is just as awesome! Bobby Qs always has great cocktails that you can't go wrong with and the Q rolls are always a great choice for food!

The food is good. The service is good, maybe tries too hard but still good. The portions are enormous. Every group seemed to walk out with a to go bag. The Texas Ribs are a good choice. These are very tender and flavorful. If you order an Old Fashioned it arrives smoked. The cornbread could be a little sweeter.

We went to eat here to celebrate a special day in our family. We were seated and then nobody came to our table. After 10 minutes I walked up to the bar and said we have been sitting here for 10 or more minutes and not one person has stopped and asked if we have been helped. We don’t even have any water. At this time the bar manager went told me to be seated and he would make sure we are taken care of. Within a minute or so we had a manager named Hunter at our table with a server named Aaron who they pulled from the bar to take care of us. They bothe stepped up and took amazing care of us. They were both very apologetic. Aaron was an amazing server and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care.I wasn’t upset that nobody had helped us in the beginning, just wanted them to know we had been there awhile and not been waited on. The manager and server definitely made up for that. I get it if your short staffed. That seems to be the reality of our world these days. The food and the service were above exceptional. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Just amazing! Food is beyond good. They give you fresh donuts for free as well. The atmosphere is really cool. They also have indoor seating that is open to the outside patio. Took my parents there since they were visiting us from Ohio. They needed to experience this place.

We went there on a whim on our last night in Mesa. Wanted to have something different than we would getting in our hometown. Which is Chicago so it's kind of a hard trick. Who went there and I got a steak and barbecue. My wife got pulled. Pork. Portions were very large and the food was very good. Was it the best? No, but it was very very good. Service was very good, extra good, maybe a little extra than extra. So what I'm saying was the waiter was very good. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by to have some food.

My visit to Bobby-Q BBQ Restaurant and Steakhouse was unfortunately far from satisfying. The highlights of my order included chicken wings, a pork rib, and a beef rib. While the food was just okay, the service sadly fell well below expectations.The most troubling issue was the extended wait time for our dishes to arrive, which was considerably longer than anticipated. Moreover, a significant service mishap occurred during our meal - a beverage, presumably coke, was accidentally spilled on my clothes, which were of a limited edition. This incident alone significantly marred my dining experience.What compounded the disappointment was the lack of response from the staff; there was no apology offered for the spill or the damage caused to my clothing. Such oversight in customer service is concerning and speaks volumes about the establishment's regard for its patrons.Regrettably, due to the combination of mediocre food, poor service, and the unfortunate incident that led to personal property damage without any form of acknowledgment or apology, I cannot foresee myself returning to Bobby-Q BBQ. For those considering a visit, please be mindful of this experience.

Went here for some amazing BBQ and everything we ate was DELICIOUS we both loved everything that was served to us, and the service was super fast. BUT I would love to point out the important part of this experience, and that was our server Ryan. Impeccable customer service and we loved talking to him , he topped off our visit and made it a really great experience. We will definitely be back and request him for future visits!
