My friends in Arizona introduced me to this donut chain! Known for light and fluffy donuts. I think each donut was only 1.88. A very simple, good donut place! Staff were super nice. I got a chocolate old fashioned which was very crispy and then mapley and fluffy on the inside with chocolate icing. The chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing I expected to be more moist. All their donuts look like the perfect donuts to dip into morning coffee!
I happen to live two blocks from an absolute gold standard of doughnuts in Top Pot in Seattle, so it’s tough to match up with that. But I will give this place props for trying to bring lunch type foods to a donuts shop without being ridiculous. The shop was clean and well lit, but it’s not really a place you sit down, it’s for donuts. As for the donuts, I had a maple bar. It tasted fresh. It was very light. The dough was airy and fine, but didn’t have any of the chew...
