I had the ultimate steakhouse whopper today. It was deliciously made. I asked for it cut 1/2 with added bbq sauce. The mushroom in it were delicious I should have ordered extra on my burger. I demolished it. I came here thinking I'd be disappointed by the usual menu. Try this. I loved it .

I don't eat fast food very often but I love the big fish sandwich and I just went there earlier today. The french fries were hot and fresh and the sandwich was delicious. I'm so pleased with the service.

Food was cold twice I ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich each time. Employees dirty long nails ect just made me wanna throw up. I dont like leaving reviews. Bad ones at that but fast food experience and expectations down cost up = not worth the time or money! This should be unacceptable many many years ago it would have been!

Tables dirty waited 30 minutes to get food and wasn’t busy. Saw at least 4 employees and was told short staffed
Waited for over an hour in the drive thru. Once you're in it there is no way out and at first I thought they were shotlrt staffed but I got to the window and they are fully staffed but everyone is just standing around. I won't come back to this location. Its ridiculous one car every 30 minutes

Okay, it's unfair to compare to their Glory Days of the 1970s & '80s. But still, they're nothing close to what they used to be!
Occasionally I get a craving for a flame broiled burger. And, usually, I can tamp it down knowing BK has strayed really far from their roots. Well, today, hunger & location won out & I caved. Oops!
The good: the dining room and what I could see of the kitchen were spotlessly clean. One front end manager was handling the counter and the drive thru as well as the fry station. I observed 2 employees in the kitchen doing order assembly. They both wore gloves and neither touched chicken or beef patties with their hands.
Their French fries are 5 ⭐. Esp compared to similar offerings at similar franchises like Arches, redhead with 2 pony tales, the talking clown head, etc. great seasoning, piping hot, good qty, fair price.
The drink machine was clean.
The bad: one employee was grabbing the lettuce, tomato and onion by hand after slathering a bun with mayo and then picking off excess bits and placing those back in their trays now coated in mayo. Yikes!
My Whopper didn't have the slightest hint of grill flavor. It was limp and soggy and barely above room temp. Excessive mayo, very skimpy with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. Definitely not the Whopper of old. I thought about sending it back but the manager had her hands full and I didn't have much time.
Not the fault of BK or the staff: road construction outside ongoing for months now makes ingress/egress a real challenge.
Next time I get a craving, I'll just keep going. Too many better choices.
