The margaritas were small, weak, very expensive and they tasted like lemon juice.The chicken meat in the tostada was dark meat instead of grilled or shredded breast meat and it had way too much black pepper, which is strange for Mexican food. The tostada & taco shells were over cooked. Our bill was almost $40 for 2 small margaritas, a tostada and 2 tacos (no meals). Very expensive for what we got!The server was nice but the food was a big disappointment!

All I can say is, WOW...THE FOOD IS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! All of the ladies were so nice and the place is spotless. My partner and I have been looking for agood Mexican food and I have to say this place is the best...hands down..The beans were 100% authentic with great flavor...Thank you ladies for making our first time dining experience a 10 out of 10!Kid-friendliness: The lady brought a lollipop to my daughter and made sure she could have it before she gave it to her...very respectful...

Ordered a large quesadilla on line. $13.75Informed it would be Ready in 10-15 minutes I arrived in 10 it was ready. Charged me $19.50 when I asked how it went from $13.75 to $19 plus I was told they did not update the menu on line. OK . Got home to an extremely soggy quesadilla. Very little cheese. No salsa, no pico no nothing. Just the soggy quesadilla. Green pork was OK very salty.First and last time for me.

We've given Carbajal's so many chances because their food is awesome but after today's visit, we will never be back. Every time we go, the service sucks! So slow, and you often have to ask again for your requests. Even when it's not too busy (it's a very small restaurant so even when it's full it's not ever that busy for two waitresses.) The day manager (maybe owner... That's a frightening thought!) always just sits at the bar eating and chatting while the waitress struggles to get everyone taken care of. Today all of that happened again... Manager not helpful and slow service. However, this time when we went to pay they all of the sudden lost my credit card! Now I didn't find this information out because they were forthright with it but because I saw them fumbling around trying to find something. It was after waiting 10 minutes for my card, and seeing the growing panic in the waitress' eyes that I asked and was finally told they couldn't find my card. The manager suggested leaving and then they'd call me.... No. After waiting 30 minutes with a fussy and crying baby they finally found my card. They made no effort to discount or comp my meal for their mistake and charged me $25 for a plate of nachos! This place has always been subpar, aside from the food, and I will never be returning. This was the last straw.

Everyone there was so nice! The green chili is so....... good!! We didn't order it,but the lady brought us a sample .She new how to hook us to make this one of our new spots !We had shredded beef tacos and cheese crisp. The green chili is where it's at
