This is a hidden gem tucked off the street. The place is very clean and inviting while the music added to the atmosphere. I ordered the Bistec Salteado & Maduras. My friend had Mofongo de Camerones and we split a Morir Soñando. I could have licked both our plates clean. I was informed that the Bistec is their specialty but the Mofongo is also a top competitor for different reasons. The Bistec and Maduras complimented each other well and the sautéed peppers and onions added a nice sweetness to the herbaceous meat. While the salad and dressing made me think my taste buds were dancing with delight. Meanwhile, the shrimp of the Mofongo was cooked perfectly, tender and sweet pieces of shrimp with the nice flavors from the cooking sauce melted with the mashed plantains and garlic combination excellently. Lastly, the Morir Soñando reminded me of an orange creamsicle. Not too sweet but more than just milk and oranges. For our first time trying Dominican food, we left impressed and satisfied.

Definition of comfort food. So flavorful, so tender, seasoned to perfection. They in the kitchen getting down for sure. We had a couple empanadas that were delicious, the pina colada was refreshing. A place that will be visited again. They have a few different things on the menu I have to try.

Food was just ok compared to the Dominican food I’m used to. The beef and chicken empanadas were pretty good and the service was good as well.

Bistec was over salted, maduros were overcooked, tostones weren't crunchy. Overall great disappointment.

The empanada was pretty hard, and the cheese inside was too. The pork bites were dry. We came as a family of six, and honestly, we were all a bit disappointed. The reviews seemed great, so maybe we just came at a bad time.Mambos Dominican Kitchen in Chandler was way better.

As a Dominican American from NYC I miss Dominican food. The food options are good enough to satisfy common Dominican foods like mangu, empanada, sancocho & mofongo. The staff is kind, music is typical iykyk. Great for lunch. Flavorful & tastes like home.

I guess they just didn't care about they customers. I walked in to a girl chilling at a table after placing an order online 30 minutes prior to when I walked in. When I got there they said they'll start on my order now. I'll have to find a good quality Cuban restaurant that love they customers not one where employees don't want to be at work
Very flavorful and delicious
Our minds were blown by the amount of flavor everything had! We ordered the Shrimp Mofongo, fried plantains, beef and cheese and guava empanadas. Honestly one of the best meals I have ever had!!!
