This is a hidden gem tucked off the street. The place is very clean and inviting while the music added to the atmosphere. I ordered the Bistec Salteado & Maduras. My friend had Mofongo de Camerones and we split a Morir Soñando. I could have licked both our plates clean. I was informed that the Bistec is their specialty but the Mofongo is also a top competitor for different reasons. Definition of comfort food. So flavorful, so tender, seasoned to perfection. They in the kitchen getting down for sure. We had a couple empanadas that were delicious, the pina colada was refreshing. A place that will be visited again. They have a few different things on the menu I have to try.
As a Dominican American from NYC I miss Dominican food. The food options are good enough to satisfy common Dominican foods like mangu, empanada, sancocho & mofongo. The staff is kind, music is typical iykyk. Great for lunch. Flavorful & tastes like home.
