The food was ok. The hot dog was cold when I (quickly) got home, the fries were still very warm. The lady that seemed like the cook was very impatient. Perhaps why the hot dog wasn't heated properly...

The food quality has diminished but it still holds a special place in my heartI can tell you that the most recent owner has been evicted, so expect another change in ownershipWhether or not the store will improve, or even remain as "Chicagoland," I can't say. I would be heartbroken if the Chicagoland brand went away forever, since I believe this is the last location in Arizona, if not the country.

The food here is amazing. The Italian beef sandwich has the perfect kick of spiciness with savory beef. Order it with both green peppers and giardiniera. The portion sizes are spot on, and the prices are very reasonable.

Service and atmosphere were alright. My dad and I had a late afternoon dinner here today and I was very disappointed. We each got the jumbo hot dog basket. My hot dog was barely warm and the fries were so salty.

To-go order-hotdogs were burnt and fries were raw. Felt bad for young man working alone. Owners need to work or hire more help. With tip I spent $20 and threw it all away!

As I said before, I want this place to make it, but like last time the person (a lady this time) behind the counter is by herself (running the register, cooking, etc) and there a sign on the door that they be closing at 3:00 due to "staff shortages". Took some time just to give my order and then a long time to get it. They did have brats this time, and it was okay. No napkins in the dinning area, dirty tables, same drab decor that's been in place for years The one young person didn't look happy, and I guess I don't blame her since she's probably overwhelmed. Half way through my visit another person showed up, but the first one disappeared and he was left alone. Anyway, at noon there were very few customers and I'm thinking the place is on its last leg. Hope there's a turn-around on the horizon - that would be great.

After the old owners sold it, it’s not worth going here anymore. This place used to be slammed at noon and it was pretty empty. I worked here for years when I was in high school, I drove half hour to eat here but this is was a sad disappointment of what it used to be. They didn’t even have the item anymore I came for and the new people cooking and running the register didn’t even have a clue so I paid and sat for 10 minutes before even being told. Coming from someone who can make all the items on the menu I had zero confidence the people cooking were going to give me anything I’d be happy with anyways.

Decent Chicago dog, little over cooked. don't get brats here they are extremely overcooked and over priced and they are dry and crumbly

I used to always go there but I don't know what happened. New owners ! I will never go back. They were closing early. No help. I ordered 2 Chicago Dogs. They were cold. The buns were hard. They were NOT Vienna Beef! They were these skinny little hot dogs that tasted horrible! The place was filthy. They have T-shirts hanging on the walls full of dust! $10 for 2 hot dogs that were inedible! I am never going back!

Went there this afternoon and was very disappointed. Hotdogs were cold, buns were not steamed and I am not sure what they think a Chicago hotdog is, but I was raised on the Southside of Chicago, that is not like any Chicago hotdog I have ever eaten. I will not go there again. We left and went to highly hotdogs on williams field rd and got a good hotdog.

This was my first time having a Chicago style hotdog and it was pretty amazing. My husband ordered the Italian beef with au jus and the meat was tender and tasty. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit. The owner made sure we where taken care of and the staff was friendly.
