I usually enjoy dining at this restaurant and have visited many times, but I wanted to share a small concern from my recent order.
Yesterday, I ordered two Grilled Pork Sausage Spring Roll (4 rolls) items and asked for two extra sauce containers. Each order is $13 after tax, so the total should have been $26. However, I was charged $31.39 because each extra sauce was charged $3.
When I called to ask, the staff explained that normally, when ordering one portion, one extra sauce is free. Since I ordered two portions, the two extra sauces should have been free as well. Unfortunately, I was still charged for both sauces. The staff apologized and mentioned it may have been a mistake by a new employee, but the charge was not adjusted.
I understand mistakes can happen, but it would be appreciated if the restaurant could clearly inform customers of any additional charges before charging them. As a regular customer, this experience was a bit disappointing.a
I hope this feedback can help improve communication in the future.

I took a chance and scored today. This place was pretty darn good. I got a soup with egg noodles, pork, shrimp, and quail egg. It was really tasty. The restaurant was full of Asian folk which is a good sign. I'm definitely going to come back and try some of their non soup based options.

I have always ordered from this place. Just realized that extra noodle cost $4.99 that’s such a ripoff price. Wow
Clean restaurant. Service was excellent. Food was ok. We ordered #30 & #32 on the menu. Portion was generous. The broken rice dishes came with a small bowl of soup with a generous piece of pork rib. The pork chop & shrimp paste wrapped in tofu skin of #30 tasted much better than the slice pork & shrimp paste of #32. The pork meat of #32 tasted like old refrigerated meat. The steam egg was eh. Should skip it. Total of 2 dishes before tip was $30.31.

The place can have a little update but the food outweighs everything else it’s lacking! We had beef short ribs with broken rice and it was so flavorful, the soup that came with the dish was a little too salty but the flavor was great too. Best food we’ve had in a while.
I think the place needs to be updated but my kids loved it because they played Golden from Kpop demon hunter so it was all good!

This place is located in the Asian District, right by the entrance of the Mekong Supermarket, on the right hand side as you enter. It also has its own entrance, just right at the front.
The place is casual, a little grungy, maybe it’s the dark decor and furniture…. The tables are all set with silverware, napkins, straws, condiments, so that part is convenient. We came on a Thursday around lunch time, so it didn't take long for us to get seated. There were about 4 other tables occupied besides us. They have cold water carafe with lemon and that was nice.
We looked over the menu and ordered shortly after being seated. Our entrees came rather quickly. We ordered: (1) #28 with grilled pork chops and (2) another com tam with beef (can't recall the item number on the menu). Both entrees came with a small bowl of soup with pork (complimentary) and it was cooked to perfection cuz the meat was so tender the broth was just so comforting! This is one of the biggest star items for us!
The broken rice is ok, not the best but also better than some I have had. As for the main/selected proteins: The grilled pork is quite thin but tasty. Has grill the criss-cross grill marks, so it looks nice. The beef was a little sweet but still tasty.
The stars, to me, were all supporting items that came with the rice plates which makes the meal enjoyable:
1. the pork soup I mentioned: EXCELLENT!
2. the pickled cabbage (tartness and sweetness were perfect!)
3. the bi - nice and dry as they should be
4. Tom cha was more eggy but still tasty
5. the Tau Hau Ky was surprising DELICIOUS! One of the best I have had!
The sauce (nuoc mam) is on a sweet side but I think most restaurants make them just as sweet.
Overall, I would come back here again for the complimentary pork soup and the Tau Hau Ky! Those 2 items are worth the trip for sure!
