El Gordo Real Mexican Grill

Not good. I have no idea why this place has good ratings. I have tried this place 3 different times with 3 different items and all were horrible. My last visit was a chili relleno burrito that the chili relleno coating was very thick and mushy. I hate saying this but fillibertos is better and their food is trash.

There are so many other mexican fast food places I have no idea why anyone would choose to eat here. I figured I'd give it a 3rd try after reading the reviews and hopes my first 2 visits were a fluke. Horrible food, long wait and just overall bad.

Food is usually good.
We had issues today with our food due to the speaker being almost unusable. Entire order had to be respoken at the window. Cashier lady was very easy to work with to get it sorted. Two things would have corrected the issue before paying (we did correct it before leaving) rereading the order before paying. And or a new speaker for the drive through as it is almost unusable and is creating more work for the staff and waste.

I'm living across the street from El Gordon for a month, so I've tried their food a few times.
They have a pretty wide variety, so you can probably get what you want.
Prices are low for what you get.

Ordered the Super Burrito and it was absolutely delicious- enough for two - the carne asada was very flavorful and was loaded with other goodies. Definitely will order it again.

I like menudo; however, I don't want bone soup... literally! More bine and fat than tripe and hominy. Needless to say, I won't be back

Fast Mexican food but not fast food junk. Excellent menu, and everything I've ever had off of it is delicious and authentic. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't try them at least once. Even if you're not into Mexican food, you'll like something on their menu, especially the burritos. Bean and cheese or beef are my favorites. it might be yours, too. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed

The food is good, there is no armosohere in a gas station. We placed an order online and paid for food to be picked up. Sat in the drive threw and wated a long time behind 3 other cars. Finly got to the window, and they had no order for me. Parked and went inside to find out what happened. The clirk just said she had no order for me. I showed her my paid online order on my phone. She brings 2 tablets and several phones. Looks at all of them and said no order. So, I went home and canceled the charge with no food. She was not very helpful.
