Been to El Pollo Correteado on Alma School quite a few times over the past 2 years and for sure the chicken quality has gone down and the prices have gone up Like most to be fair, but give me good chicken. Offer some specials or something. I bragged about this place In the past but now I’m very dissatisfied and will probably not go back.

We were excited to try this little spot. We ordered a whole chicken and was disappointing as how small and lack of flavor there was. We are not convinced there was a 2 whole pieces of chicken breast but rather only one that was cut in to a half. I was hoping to savor more different flavors rather than just garlic, onion and salt powder. The sides are charged separately of which was also disappointing given the sides are not fresh. The rice and beans are microwaved but they do serve a lot of tortillas. This chicken could definitely use like a green cream salsa or other salsa options rather than just a red nacho salsa.

Today we stopped and got the chicken from here. It was actually really good. Great customer service clean restaurant and just the flavor of the chicken. I would recommend to everyone
So much food. Mashed potatoes were silky smooth and delicious. Chicken was seasoned well and juicy. My friend had half slab of ribs and she took home because there were so many ribs. They have so much to choose from for deserts. Everyone was so friendly and it’s a definite go back place.
