This place was amazing. The food was unique and delicious (we got the whole pescado- red snapper, adobo ribs, dumplings, ceviche). The drinks were on point. And the atmosphere/service was intimate and fast/knowledgeable without being pushy. It’s a little pricey but worth it, Definitely will be back

We had two fancy cocktails (loved the Phoenix), mushroom quesadilla appetizer, Korean bbq spare ribs, and the hamburger. We sat outside.

Our server was very enthusiastic and explained the drinks and the menu well and checked in regularly, which was great.

The food was tasty, I liked the ribs but my wife found them a little fatty. We really enjoyed the mushroom quesadilla. The burger was good.

The main dishes came out pretty quickly after our appetizer - we were only half way done and then hoping our main meal wouldn't get cold.

The cocktails were expertly made and delicious. We probably would have had another but they were a bit pricey, but very good!

We will definitely come back and try other dishes and drinks.

This is a must try!! Go on a date or celebrate something special here… I highly recommend this place. It is very small in nature and you need to make a reservation and pay $10 to reserve a seat per person. The drinks are worth the price and are delicious. Everything I ate was also amazing. I had the Korean Style Adobo Ribs. Once I had a taste, I went from a lady to a t-Rex, I didn’t care that I was in public - it was just that good.

We also tried the potato chips and the birria dumplings. Everything was made o perfection and the staff was so friendly. I would go here again.

My partner and I drove by on our way home from an event. We were pleasantly surprised how incredible the food turned out and our service from Taber was amazing. Will definitely be coming back! We had the Burger and the Birria Dumplings!

Espiritu Mesa is an absolute gem! The handcrafted cocktails are absolutely delicious—I had the Fire Añejo, and it was perfection. For food, our table shared the deep-fried red snapper with all the fixings. It was incredibly tasty, with perfectly crispy skin and moist, flavorful meat. The presentation was stunning, and every bite was a delight. Highly recommend!

This place is such a vibe! Seen mesa downtown with no bar and I’m so happy it’s growing and this place is amazing! It’s been 4 hours since I ate the potatoes tacos and I’m still thinking about them and when I will have them again! 10/10 recommend from a Mexican to another Mexican this place is legit.

Ordered the ceviche. It tasted ok and slightly better than how it looked, but it is definitely not worth paying over $30.The music was so loud that we could barely have a conversation.

Pricing is outlandish, gratuitous, and either misprinted or just flat out deceptive. Not a fan.

Showed up at 8:45 on Halloween, there were 11 people in the entire place, yet it took 10 minutes to get a glass of water. I understand being slammed during a dinner rush but if I’m waiting when it’s almost empty because you’re understaffed or under poor management, it doesn’t suggest that you respect the patrons time or money when they start to think they’ve been forgotten. Of course, I could have tried getting the attention of our server as they walked by but I didn’t feel like yelling over 21 Savage and Travis Scott blaring through the restaurant at full volume.

We ordered the mussels & prawns at market price and the papas tacos displayed at $14 on the menu. Mussels were overpriced by a long shot. Came out to $38 for 3 small head on shrimp, 6 mussels, about 4oz of broth and three slices of bread. The taste wasn’t bad but it certainly wasn’t deserving of the price for that portion. The potato tacos were good but bffr…. You brought the check and you charged $15 before tax when the menu says $14. It’s only a dollar but also the principle. What if I just decided I wanted to only pay $5? Would that be fair? Change the menu or charge the display price. I can only assume the other market price menu items are overpriced as well. Especially when they’re charging $18 (or maybe $19. Who knows?) for corn. “But it has bone marrow in it!” Cool, keep it.

TL;DR. Staff was nice but struggling. Food taste decent but over priced. Charged more than what the menu displayed. Music was loud and obnoxious.

The menu is super fun with some fantastic mezcal cocktails and food. Don't skip the waygu dumplings in birria broth and the whole fried red snapper. Both dishes are super unique and I can't get over how rich and flavorful the broth is. Definitely recommend!
