Firehouse Subs Stapley Center

Needed a quick meal before a show in Mesa. We knew that Firehouse Subs has had gluten free options. We asked and they confirmed. Wife told Sean, the young man who took our order, that she had Celiac disease and she needed gluten free options and wanted to be sure there wouldn't be any cross contamination. Sean assured us her sandwich would be safe. When the meal was ready Sean told us that he cut the sandwich with a new, plastic, knife to insure no cross contamination. Appreciated the acknowledgment of our concern. After we had started eating our sandwiches, Sean asked how they were. That was more than we expected and better customer service than what I have received when I spent $200 for a dinner. Sean was a very enjoyable young man to work with and we greatly appreciated his professionalism. If this location was closer to home we'd be there more often. Sean reminded me of the old soda jerk in a sandwich shop who enjoyed his work and took pride in his craft: not just a corporate employee with an attitude. Good work young man!

When your employees think part of their job is to not greet customers... that adds up to bad service.., who wants to go to a restaurant with employees that don't care... no eye contact is a weird concept... When you're dealing with the public.. you take forever to make a sandwich. Your concept is played out.

We always get the same thing. A large turkey bacon ranch sub cheese on half. They ask if I want 2 boxes. No.

Doesn't seem to be a well managed location. Employees worked very slowly to get the order out even though there was only one other customer in the store. They made the other customer's order wrong and refused to give him a refund or remake the sandwich.

Consistently gets online orders incorrect. Past 3 out of three orders were wrong. Today was: didnt include mustard, chopped pickles, and no pickle spear

Do not order from this location for delivery!! Ordered on the app and took an hour and 15 minutes to get it. Received order and missing two subs and a bottle of Coke Zero. Called them and lady said she had sent everything I ordered in bag, then told her what I was missing and she said we don’t even have Coke Zero in bottle and so I said well then if you sent everything how do you send something you didn’t have. Ordered on their app as they said they had and didn’t call me to see what else I wanted. Told me she couldn’t do anything cause she sent it all in bag, and that I would have to call Uber to get refunded. By the way, keep in mind they admitted that they didn’t seal bag with stickers like they are supposed to. She gave me number to Vanessa the store manager which I called and lvm and never heard back from. Still refused to reimburse me or remake it for me. I would never do business with this location ever again. Save yourself a headache!
