BEWARE*** Gloves will not be changed prior to the touching your food. Firehouse this is disappointing, I witnessed your employee not only touch the POS system screen, but also the store phone and a glove was NEVER removed ONCE. I’m sure the gloves are well stocked and there should be no reason gloves cannot be removed and reapplied every time an order is made (health and safety risk). First and LAST time! Health inspectors need to pay a visit. Have integrity in the work you do. Do you want someone to spread germs on your food when you’ve just spent money? A general manager needs to do a proper review with employees on PPE and when it needs to be replaced

Was unable to order, there were no employees visible. I could hear people chatting in the back, but no one was keeping an eye on the front of the store.

Good food, but somebody didn't spring for the automatic ice maker. Foods is great, but knocking off a star because while the working are toiling away making food they also have to stop and manually dump ice into the drink machine. Couldn't spring for that extra automatic ice maker on top when openening a business in Arizona???

Doing another review because they somehow got worse. This firehouse location is absolute garbage. I came in at 11:30, prime lunch time, and not a single person was working. And I dont mean like they were just lazing around, there was nobody there. Store open and I could hear voices in the back but no one came out to take an order or anything. Just a terrible location that hasn’t improved at all in 3 years.

Never really had a problem her. They always get my order right and it’s fresh and tasty. Thank you!

The sandwiches are perfectly made not messy and delicious. There are quite a variety of sandwiches and all have been tasty not to mention go to a good cause helping firefighters. I always leave a donation. They have a bucket for 5.00.

I’ve only been to this firehouse subs twice since moving to the Mesa area. I’ve dealt with different individuals each time who were pleasant enough however I asked that once they cut my sandwich in half because I always order the New York steamer large that they cut the halves in half again because it’s such a large sandwich and hard to hold. Both times both different individual said yes yes they would do that And both times I took my order to go and neither one did what I asked him to do I opened the sandwich and it was just cut in half. I don’t know what makes it so difficult for them to understand what I want because they smile and both smiled and said yes they would do it and both times it wasn’t done. The food is delicious. The service is with a smile. I don’t understand why they cannot cut my sandwiches the half a sandwich in half again I didn’t think it was that difficult of a request. I probably now will not be going back. I think it’s ridiculous that I’m have to lose out my favorite place because they can’t seem to cut the sandwiches the way I asked them to cut it. I was pleasant I wasn’t unruly. I asked very politely please cut the halves in half. But after two times you’re not following my simple request. I’m definitely not gonna tip you anymore and I probably won’t be coming back to this store.
