Its Denny's with a nicer decor. But at least at Denny's they don't burn all the food. I want to like this place, I've been off and on 7 years. I have gotten better food and service in Gilbert. Maybe it's the mesa location that's poor service and food. Our regular place was closed today. First the good: mimosas were delicious fresh-squeezed juice, the pork sausages were large and tender. Now the not so good: cold toast, bacon was thin and over cooked, seasoned potatoes were burnt black on both plates with bits of burnt onion and bacon. Omelette was very dry and barely any cheese. Coffee tasted old. It was not busy and our waitress rarely visited our table, so I couldn't order more drinks or even water. Stated strawberry allergy and was brought strawberry jam. Will not be back, out of town guests were disappointed.
