Nothing like Korean food taste or quality. The taste of everything we bought is actually bad. The quality of items used in our dishes was very bad ,nasty taste, and not fresh at all. The items tasted and smelled like a few days old. The front counter person seems not wanting to be there and cooking as well. No sanitation gloves were used in between the resister and cooking. We were hungry, but left about 90% of food. The taste is really bad and unsanitary. My first and the last time for this nasty place.

Inside H Mart food Court.
Stir fried pork belly is legit and really good. Highly recommended.
Odeng w/ Kimbap combo - we only ordered the Odeng because we wanted Jajiangmyuen from Jeong’s too. Broth was not bad but on the salty side.

⭐ 1 Star (Because Zero Isn’t an Option)
If you're looking for mediocre food served with a side of rock-bottom service, look no further than K-Food Garden at the H MART food court in Mesa, AZ.
Let’s talk about the food first: It's passable, nothing to write home about. But the real highlight? The customer service disaster that followed.
After my meal, I politely asked for a takeout box. The employee (featured in the attached photo for his well-deserved recognition) handed me the smallest box humanly possible—like, we're talking thimble-sized. When I kindly requested a slightly larger box to ensure my leftovers wouldn’t explode all over my car, he flat-out refused. His reasoning? “The food you ordered doesn’t need a bigger box.”
I calmly explained that, while his culinary geometry was impressive, I wanted to be on the safe side in case I had more leftovers. Still, a hard NO. I get it, technically he didn't have to give me a bigger box. But here’s the thing—I don't have to spend my money here ever again. And guess what? I won’t.
So, congratulations to this employee for saving the company a whopping 3 cents on a slightly bigger box! 🎉 My next meal, and the meal after that, and so on, will never add a single penny to this petty establishment’s revenue.
In fact, someone at K-Food Garden should seriously consider promoting this guy to Chief Strategist and Customer Service Experience Executive. His groundbreaking cost-cutting techniques and innovative ways of alienating customers are truly unmatched.
For reference, I’ve even attached his photo here so he doesn’t miss the well-deserved promotion. If any manager at K-Food Garden is paying attention, this happened on Sunday, Feb 2, 2025 @ 3-3:30 pm MT.
To sum it up: If you enjoy bland food served with a side of pettiness, this is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and walk a few steps to literally any other stall in H MART.

The food is very good but the service is terrible. They refuse to speak to you and will let your to-go food sit there without letting you know it’s ready.

Look elsewhere at H-Mart. Ordered the ramen and kimbap. While the kimbap was good, the ramen was too soggy. For the price, it's an awful deal.
I just ate here right now and just want to mention what a horrible customer service I received from.the lady in white. I asked what was popular and with an attitude she said "well whatever you like" and then i asked for a spicy sauce andagain with an attitude she said "that is already spicy" . Serious attitude issues. Will never buy from there again. Also the beef soup is not good. Needed more spice for my taste...which is why I asked for spicy sauce. Again, never buying from here again.
The Kimbop and ramen are so good! <3 lost a star for unfriendly employees.
