I went in to purchase 2 smoothie bowls and toast after an excellent experience here a few months ago. I was very disappointed this time. I waited over 20 minutes and the bowls had barely any base to them. See photos for the barely half inch of açaí on our $10+ bowls. We got huge chunks of fruit that weren’t easy for the kids to eat both in the bowl and on my toast. The young man was very polite and kind, but seemed overwhelmed with orders and not at all efficient. I heard other guests complaining about the wait as well. If this is what the current food and service is, i will not return.

Though the fruit was fresh and the bowl was presented beautifully, there was a lot of granola and hardly any açaí in the bowl. I didn’t feel it was worth what I paid for.

Swung by here after the parkour place with the kids - we are VERY pleasantly surprised. There was a very young teenage kid working the counter who had the best manners and did such a great job. The place was super clean and cute… But the bowls were amazing! WAY better than Nektar! Probably one of the best bowls I’ve ever had. I’m really glad we got to support such a good small business.

My husband and I were craving Acai bowls and decided to try out Frutta bowls. We are so impressed and we loved it so much we came back the very next day for another Acai bowl and smoothies. Everything is spot on - the fruit is perfectly ripe, the texture of the smoothies is perfect - and best of all, the store owner and his staff are so friendly, helpful, and they take care and pride in the food they create. Mesa residents: come now - this place is a gem and we will be back!
