I have been to this bar when Sandy owned it and now the new owner numerous times. Nikki the bartender was totally awesome! I did feel really bad for her being she was the only one there and waiting on more than a dozen customers at a time. The owner was there but didn't seem to want to help her with all of the customers. I feel on a Saturday afternoon they needed extra help. But other than that everything was great. Thank you Nikki you did your best

Maybe I should give it lesser stars so it stays low key, but it deserves it. Bartenders are cool, nice place, clean with a great patio. If they had Guinness on tap it would be a perfect local spot. Thank you Lexi.

I've been to every bar in this city... get the cheeseburger.

I've heard great things. And, it's said they have the best burger in Mesa. It was my first time in after driving by it for nearly 3-years. Very casual dive bar type experience pretty on par with what one might expect. In the right mood, could be a pretty good hangout.

I just happened to walk in once by chance couple years ago! I was impressed by the service and the detailed orientated Mixologist Bartender-Ashleigh Marie~then and now, how she multitasks to keep the counter tops/pitchers/mugs clean for the current and new customers. Not to mention taking,preparing and serving the food menu orders! Did I say multitasker!! If you want a different atmosphere from the other overrated local neighborhood drinks/eatery establishments,try stopping by and see for yourself! One last not to mention! Free pool on certain weekday!

Gabby's holds a special place in my heart since 2009.

Johnny and the staff, looked out for my twin and I 40th's birthday celebration last Saturday. Despite a few drunk racist native Americans. I really appreciate Gabby's Sports Bar for allowing me to celebrate here. And I look forward to continue to party here. Wings as always were delicious

Gabby's is the best neighborhood bar for all. It's not a Hispanic nor a native American bar. Just an FYI. I heard some drunk racist ahh native gone say, they aren't supposed to be here.

Having recently moved to west Mesa from downtown Phoenix, i was looking for a place to watch the baseball playoff game. This was my first time at Gabbys. Maybe I'll be back to try a burger, but without fries! The fries here were bland, not very crispy, disappointing. Ashley was a good bartender, recommended a hot toddy for my sinuses, which were aggravated by an open door through which weed and cigarette smoke came at intervals. There's already a patio, the door could've been closed. The other patrons told me there's a smoke shop nearby, which i didn't know. No place is perfect, i used to go to Harvey's on 16 St when i lived closer. Gabbys is larger and maybe gets crowded later in the evening, at 5 it wasnt, and i left after, the game. Ill try some other places for sports watching, I'm not really a pool player. I went alone, having no one here by me who was interested in seeing Cleveland and the Yankees. I felt safe, but hate smoke...oh, well, thankfully,, Ashley filled my water constantly. Thanks!

Wish the "owner" would add his name, he knows ours, but never signs his. I didn't say that the v smoke came from their patio. I knew it didn't. Just that we could've had door closed and got air from patio....

Other than a fight breaking out mid game it was a good little first experience Saturday. Ashley is a good server and took care of the unfortunate situation pretty quickly.
