Golden Valley has been a family favorite for decades, and I’m thrilled to say it’s just as amazing as ever under the new owner, Amanda. She’s kept all the same recipes that made this place special since my wife’s childhood, and the food is still every bit as delicious, fresh, and authentic.
From the first bite, you can taste the tradition and care that’s gone into every dish. It’s rare to find a restaurant that keeps its heart and soul alive through the years — but Golden Valley has done it perfectly.
A huge shoutout to Dominick, our waiter, who was absolutely fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.
If you’re looking for incredible Chinese food that feels like home, Golden Valley is the place. Thank you, Amanda, for keeping the legacy alive — and thank you, Dominick, for the outstanding service!

We went here today and were promptly greeted and seated. We noted that they have a 7 day a week lunch special available at a very competitive price. We ordered the orange chicken and the triple delight lunch specials which included soup and a large spring roll. Very tasty, but not over seasoned. The exterior of the restaurant is clean but somewhat plain appearing, the interior appears clean and well maintained. Lots of free parking.

So I walk in and notice something is eerily off. Waiting for Tom's smiling face, but no. He's always there on Wednesdays.....I was told he sold the restaurant, which broke my heart.
I was under the weather so I got my go-to hot and sour soup. My partner got a vegetable dish.
Hot and Sour soup was off. Watery and spiced with A LOT of black pepper. I've never seen that much black pepper in any dish anywhere. So big thumbs down on the new hot and sour soup.
My partner's vegetable dish was very fishy, which he hated, but I loved. So 6/7 on that one.
Bottom line.......we need Tom back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was excellent! The restaurant staff were very pleasant and performed their duties quickly and efficiently. Their prices were fair. I will definitely come again. You get a lot of very good food, served quickly and efficiently in a friendly atmosphere.
Food was all bland, best things they got are crab puffs and their low mein. The service and atmosphere are nice though.
Great food but service was pushy.
It didn’t kill me.
Whoever is making food tonight has luv in their heart lol, delicious
My fave spot for Chinese food!

We have been looking for a Chinese restaurant that reminds us of a place we loved in CA. Saw the reviews of this place and the pictures of the food looked really good so decided to give this place a try.
The location of this place looks sketchy but we have had great experiences at other restaurants with same feel, so that did not deter us. It was also New Years Day so parking lot and restaurant was empty, but it started to pick up by the time we left.
Restaurant was clean and atmosphere was nice.
Service was average but helpful and informative. Was told that they have been in business since 1997.
We ordered several dishes and was advised portions are substantial and were we sure we wanted that much. We.like leftovers and wanted a variety so we ordered 4 dishes.
Food definitely was big portions and all tasted good. The orange beef was really good but luke warm as was the orange chicken. Garlic beef was pipping hot and grea flavor. Wife had Moo-Gai Pan Chicken was also luke warm but good flavor.
We ordered beef sticks but they had a sweet aftertaste that was offsetting probably won't order again.
Pricing was good especially for the portions you get.
As stated above more people arrived during our dining and another patron said this is their favorite place to come for Chinese food.
Will we be back?...yes..but will mae sure food is hotter and try other things for variety.

Such a cozy and welcoming environment. Friendly service and delicious fresh food. I had the sweet and sour chicken. It was flavorful and crispy. Rice was nice and soft. 10/10 recommend, I can’t wait to try out more dishes.
