Horrible service, sushi was warm, other plates bland and greasy, silverware, menus (had food on them) and tables very dirty. We had to wipe the table down ourselves. The booths are old and need repair. The waitress older woman with short hair was very rude and asked for a higher tip. Tips are paid on the level of service received and are not a requirement. She never gave any of us refills or asked how our food or service was. In the middle of eating she started removing our plates still full of food. Then when I paid her she stated that my tip wasn’t enough. I honestly didn’t feel she deserved a tip. She takes my receipt to other family members in our party shows what we paid and says this isn’t a high enough tip. She completely tried to embarrass and harass me into paying a higher tip. Making me feel bad in front of my children and family is so tacky! I paid her what I felt was a fair enough tip even when she clearly didn’t deserve one at all. What I paid and what I tipped should never be shown to other customers! I have been going to this place for over 15 years and the service has become very poor the last couple of visits but we wanted to give them one more try. Usually on Fridays this place would be packed but the last few times we’ve been there, it’s been empty. Tonight our family gave them business. Between our two paying parties they made over $300. I will never go back to this place again as I will not tolerate being disrespected, embarrassed and harassed for crappy food and extremely crappy tacky service. If you don’t like the tip you received do a better job! Treating customers like myself who come in regularly in this manner is exactly why there wasn’t any other customers in there but our family. In the past, I’ve paid higher tips to you but the quality of service tonight was not up to par for a high quality tip! I am shocked by her actions and the food was not even that great as sushi shouldn’t be warm! The fried rice was greasy and bland! The panko on the tempura veggies tasted expired as well plus it was soggy undercooked on parts of the tempura shrimp. Harassed and bullied to pay a higher tip…I’ve never experienced this in my entire life. I always pay a very good tip and in this case she didn’t deserve a tip. She should be thankful she received a tip at all from both of our paying parties which together was above the market rate for excellent service. But we didn’t get excellent service. You gave crappy services and in return you expected to receive a high tip. Then tried to harass me and embarrass me into paying more. Then speaking Chinese and talking badly about my family and me. Yes, I understood what you said and you should be ashamed of yourself! Now I will tell everyone I know including strangers in our community that your services are horrible, restrooms are disgustingly filthy, and the waitress who may be the owner is ungrateful. If you aren’t the owner, then the owner should fire you. Be happy you had our family come in tonight because if we didn’t, you wouldn’t have made any money tonight as we were the only customers in the establishment at this time (6-7:30pm)! Also, when individuals order, don’t put everyone’s food on one platter! This isn’t à la carte! I had to distribute everyone’s food to the correct individual, grab more menus as we only received 3 in total as well as grab more napkins, plates, and silverware so everyone had their own. This was your job and you failed on all levels. Lastly, your prices have increased 100% and for that you show you are greedy! I understand price increases are needed from time to time but to charge $8.00 for a 8 piece roll a year ago and now $16 for the same roll that is now a 6 piece roll is ridiculous. No one likes bullies either. Greed gets business’ closed. Save your money and go to another place. You’ll be disappointed if you go here.

We have frequented many times but after the waitress asked us to pay a bigger tip…I can’t say I’m looking forward to returning any time soon and recommending it.

My kid was fine until she had the tuna sushi roll from here. She hasn't had anything to eat since the day before and was fine. Within 30 minutes to an hour of eating the sushi she began to have a headache, dizziness, nausea, etc. We had to give her an antihistamine to feel better which is a sign of food poisoning.

I did have the ramen and that was good and I didn't get ill.

The decor and place is very dated which explains why it was empty when we got there.

This place used to be our go-to sushi spot about 10 years ago, before it was sold. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, most of the great employees left and the quality of the food has steadily gone downhill. We’ve given it chance after chance over the years—probably a dozen visits since—and almost always leave regretting it. Sadly, tonight was no different.

We ordered our old favorites: the Got 1 Roll, Palm Springs Roll, KD Wasabi Roll, and the R&B Roll. The Got 1 and R&B were the best of the bunch, though that’s a pretty low bar compared to what they used to be. The R&B Roll was loosely wrapped and missing the ponzu sauce, which really hurt the flavor.

The Palm Springs Roll used to have a shredded crab salad on top, but this time it tasted more like salmon and just didn’t hit the way it used to. The KD Wasabi Roll was the most disappointing—nothing about it tasted fresh. The sauce was more mayo-like than wasabi, and the fish on top seemed old.

The one bright spot was the chicken fried rice, which is still a solid choice. We were also glad to see one of the longtime waitresses still there.

For a Friday night, the restaurant was surprisingly slow. There was no wait at all, and only two people seated at the sushi bar, which really says a lot compared to how packed this place used to be.

We truly wish this review were more positive because of how much we loved this place years ago, but after so many attempts, it’s clear it’s just not what it once was.

I have been here for dinner twice. I love the food and drinks here, especially the lemon drop cocktail. For me, it tastes very good.. The service is good and friendly.

The quality has gone down quite a bit since the original owners sold this business. The fish quality, price and all around atmosphere declines more every year.

Fairly quick service with quite kind workers. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Las Vegas rolls, both of with were good with pretty big portions. The price is well worth it in my mind; I'll definitely be coming back.

Spent $20, tipped $6 and they took another $4, for a $10 tip (paid in cash, didn’t want to argue, so me and my friend left)
Otherwise everything was good

This is my 1st and last time here. I spent $69 in total on sushi, egg rolls, and Dragon & Phoenix entree. The sushi was the worst! It was rubbery, and I have never had anything like it before...totally inedible. 2nd, I've had better egg rolls out of the frozen food section. The entree, was just meh. I would never recommend this place to anyone! I frequent Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese places quite often...this by far was the worst.
