Hubby and I had heard of this restaurant a few years ago and we were looking for a place without a huge line on a Sunday mid-morning so we headed here. Under newer ownership, when we walked in, the customers let us know that the drinks were self serve, the menu was on the dry erase board and to grab a pad of paper, write down the order and to take it into the kitchen. After a moment of - huh? We did as we were told. The server popped out and said hello and to help ourselves to the drinks. This is a 2 person show so do not expect quick service. The food was ok but won’t likely be back due to the lack of structure surrounding customers walking in and out of the kitchen.

I will say my wife and I had a decent experience here. The food was awesome, I ordered the 3 meat omelette & was surprised it was stuffed. My only complaint was I was a bit confused on where things were but that’s nothing to be upset about. Friendly nice experience.

Grandma's Kitchen is a small family owned business that serves great breakfasts and lunch sandwiches. The chef is a Culinary Institute of America trained expert. Each meal is cooked to order from fresh ingredients. This takes a little longer to prepare but is well worth the wait. I'm so happy this restaurant is close to me but it's worth the drive if you're not close by. Decorations and styling are very welcoming and the staff does a great job. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

It took 50 minutes to get order out for French toast and an omelette. We had a flight to catch so we asked for to go boxes and got severe attitude from one of the waitresses. Instead of being apologetic for taking so long. Bad vibes

Stay away if you have ANYTHING else to do during your day! 25 mins for coffe and water to be served. Another 40 mins for food to be served. 2 eggs, bacon and toast. Total stay was 1 hr. 42 mins. Small dog running around under our tables while eating and back and forth from kitchen to dining room. Sign was posted by manager on door with us and 2 other tables seated at 11 a.m. on a Sunday that read "We are fl". Surprised they made it open this long!

Lovely owners. Made me feel like I was in a real Grandma's house. But it was a bit weird to open up a drawer to look at the menu which was just paper stapled together. They definitely need a little bit of help with the kitchen and maybe a couple of waiters. And could use a little bit of spice in their food. Sadly the breakfast burrito that I had was kind of lackluster. And the gravy that came with it was very thick with very little flavor. With just a little extra help I could see this place being really great. I would also suggest that they lower their prices on their food. Seemed a bit pricey for what I got.*Edit*It's sad to see that instead of addressing the issues at hand I have been issued a challenge by the "Executive Chef". Considering my opinion as someone half your age doesn't seem to matter.

I love the atmosphere! The music is loud enough to hear, but you can actually talk to your table. The food is fantastic! It takes a while to come out, but it is made to order. The waitress/owner is very sweet!Thank you again for breakfast!

Food is ok. It's understood that small businesses are struggling to find people yet there is a weird kind of rude vibe in this place. Sorry but there was no life here and so quiet I was afraid to talk.

There is endless commentary here! It is rare that I find a place I can call 'home'. Finally a 'tearoom' similar to the ones I grew up in. Finally a licensed chef who knows how to make an omlette, with fresh spinach, mushrooms, bacon and cheese. Wow! Do you know how hard this is to find in this 'Valley of Little Culture'? I have found my new 'place'. ❤

Hello, my name is Carson and I am 10 years old and I went here had the best food I’ve ever had I was there with my Great grandma, Grandma, Sister and brother. You should try the potatoes those are the best. The potatoes are like if you die and go to heaven and then come back down and go to heaven again. Everything here is delicious. My sister says that you should try the French toast. Thanks to the owners too!

Very homey and personable place with no frills, basic good eats. Quaint drawers for menus and extras at every table for customer convenience.

Owner was pretty nasty when opening the door to customers. She ended up refusing service to my mother , me and my 15 month daughter. Strictly because we didn't have masks to go from the door to the table. We went to the henhouse down the road and it was truly amazing!

This place has an outrageous covid policy. We didn't have masks so they wouldn't let us in. Meanwhile another woman without a mask entered and we asked why she was allowed inside. The answer we received was that she was a "regular". Screw this place. Happy to know that if you attend a restaurant enough times you are immune to covid. Genius people out here!

The only shining star was the (only) waitress who was hustling like crazy on the dining room, in the kitchen and playing mask police for the "manager" that stayed hidden in the kitchen the whole time. Creepy atmosphere with way too many chotchkies around (looks like someone unloaded a thrift shop in there). Someone else mentioned it, but the picture above the restaurant of the owners(?) is plain strange. Food was ok Very strange covid protocols- shower curtains throughout the restaurant - they had "borrow" masks, not a box of paper masks to use, but cloth masks you could use, until they ran out. If you came in without a mask they forced you to walk back out and come back in, masked. Straws, napkins and menus were in the drawer of every table and everyone helped themselves.... Food wasn't quick and it took 20 minutes after being done and to get a bill. We had been years ago and decided to try again- we won't be back and would not recommend

The new waitress is rude & condescending. A family walked in sat down for 15 minutes, she kicked them out because she didn't see masks on them. This great restaurant will lose customers because of her. Everyone that she seated waited for menues & 15 minutes later she'd finally told everyone they were in the drawers. Rude never coming back
