Had door dash delivery $80 for 2 and never again, they forgot one item, spicy item was not and the mild item was so spicy. Best thing was the rice and naan. Save your money and microwave a Trader Joe’s Indian entree or go Tap n Tikka .

Not as good as it used to be....They honestly need to change the buffet more often. Chicken tikka was like eating a jar of salt & some of the food seemed old in the buffet. Disappointed because its the only indian buffet around. Workers look salty themselves. Naan was hot and fresh tho & infinite mango lassi. Best part hands down

Phenomenal restaurant. The service was excellent and the lunch buffet was perfect with all my favorite dishes. Mango lassi and naan with the buffet! The price is unbeatable too.

EVERYTHING in the buffet was delicious. So much flavor. Definitely the best Indian buffet I've ever had.

The lunch buffet is worth it for $16 a person. It’s just no frills though. Like the rice is just in a rice cooker sitting on the side. Not that it’s bad, just want to note that it’s pretty basic, almost like you’re in someone’s home and they set food out for you to grab. Also we didn’t actually get table service. No one came to our table to ask if we wanted drinks or naan, we just had to flag someone down and they were giving off a vibe that was like we were bothering them, so that was a bit odd. If it was more expensive I would say don’t bother going, but for the low price I think it’s still worth a stop for a decent Indian lunch buffet, especially if you know what it’s like before going.

The food here is absolutely delicious. But the folks at the front counter seem like they're miserable, or a least not happy to see or help customers. We've been coming here for years because the food is so good, but I'm getting tired of being treated like I'm annoyance. I'm talking about takeout, but we've eaten inside, and the server wasn't very friendly either. A smile and welcome go a long way - hope the owner and staff learn that someday.

We went here as a family to try the brunch as the reviews were good stating there are a lot of vegetarian dishes. Having good expectations we went to dine in but the buffet didn’t live up to the expectations as the options were. The service staff is polite yet slow, in vegetarian starters its just fritters or pakoras. The curries tastes similar to each other as if the base gravy is same. The dessert section was a no-go. They were cold and overly sweet. The gulab jamuns were very chewy which made them unpalatable.
The highlights of the buffet were the fruit bar and the garlic naan which was fresh and warm.

I was underwhelmed by the selection. Chicken tikka, masala, a nice lentil soup, and a goat dish. They also had a few vegetarian dishes. That's it.
The food was pretty good, but mild. I expect Indian cuisine to have more vibrant flavors. I think they Americanized this, dialing the flavors way back. Which is a shame. Mild spice, and no heat at all.
They have fresh hot naan if you ask for it.
I was craving for mutton (lamb) biryani and looked at every restaurant in and around Phoenix. I chose to go to Guru as it was rated superb on uber eats and I really wanted to have the full experience and have my food fresh and hot. The place has a lot of seating and by the time I reached only a few were available. The place was buzzing with pickups and uber eat delivery. I ordered the biryani and it was amazing - large mutton pieces with flavourful rice. I paired it with coke, curd, green chutney, and some roasted papad. It was amazing - the serving is huge and enough for two. I would recommend to visit this place if you are craving Indian food. I would suggest to go and eat rather than order-in its a better dinning experience.

Food is always good. No complaints! Not spicy at all but on buffet bar you can get jalapeno or bring your own.

Recommended dishes: Goat Curry, Naan, Curry, Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry
Probably the worst Indian food I've had unfortunately. The sauces on all dishes were watery and not properly cooked down. The blend of flavors was not there, the Butter Chicken tasted like canned tomatoes and chicken stock, not a properly blended or flavored sauce.
The naan was also very chewy compared to most naan I've had.
The mango lassi was just wack I don't even know what to say about that. Closer to a bitter cucumber flavor than a mango drink.
