Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

We stopped in for some lunch. Great food. Chicken tenders were great. Fried chicken was tasty. Crispy, juicy and cooked perfectly. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Baked beans were tasty, more savory than sweet which was a nice touch. Coleslaw was good, not too much mayo. Wait staff was friendly and quick. Food is made to order so it takes about 15-20 minutes for your food to arrive at the table, plan accordingly. 10/10. Will go back when I want good fried chicken.

Great Dan of Gus’s Fried Chicken in Memphis and also Angeles. This location so not disappoint at all. Great food, good service and a perfect relaxed and fun vibe.

We were looking for broasted chicken while in Arizona, we saw Gus’s website and we headed there. The chicken was crisp, moist and very well seasoned, also nice size pieces. We tried the coleslaw-very good, potato salad-very good, Mac and cheese-very good. We saw chess pie on the menu and had to try as we have never heard of it, it was creamy and delicious. We will be back for more of all.

I am not really one to leave reviews unless I feel like a place really stands out and wow do they. The chicken was so perfectly cooked, seasoned, and crispy, and the fries I got were equally as good. Our server last night, Vanessa, was such a sweetheart and definitely made the experience even better! The owner was also a very nice gentleman and came to check on how everything was as well which I think is huge and is amazing for any company. Gus’s is a very lovely place, highly recommended. Will definitely be coming back!!

Finger lickin' great! 🙂 Maddy, our server, made the casual dining experience a nice one. The wings, the wings, the wings, extremely good, but a little pricey when you have to buy à la carte, because the wing dinner only has three wings. The slaw was extra good. Dessert, Chess Pie, WoW! Brian runs the show, and he surveyed the customers with a smile, table by table. We will be back, probably too often......

Honestly not the best fried chicken I've ever had but the sides were delicious. The Arnold Palmer was also good and service was really good. Atmosphere and location was on point but a bit expensive for fried chicken.

I have heard a lot about this fried chicken place. But I felt the chicken was oily and dry on the outside. It was closer to closing time, and maybe we got the worst ones. I will definitely try out another time and update this review!
