Niro’s House in Mesa is a must-try for awesome Mediterranean food and generous portions. Everything from the dolmas to the gyros and shawarma hits the spot, and the baklava is seriously worth the hype. The place is clean and welcoming.

So, I had a Gyro. It was ok nothing epic but not horrible. The service was poor. Barely acknowledged me. immediately charged me an extra few when I asked him what was it for he pointed to the sign saying 35% fee for credit card even though I had cash in my had. I told him next time you should ask if it's cash before you add the fee. No reply from him. The whole time I was trying to order/pay he was looking behind him at a different screen. I asked for extra tzatziki sauce after I got my order he said 50 cents more.. normally I don't mind paying for extra sauce but for a teaspoon of sauce and most places just give it to you with the poor service I decided..The gyro barely had any tzatziki sauce on it so maybe I should have gotten it. Gyro's are getting smaller and smaller but price goes up, not the only place doing this but still sucks. It has way too many onions and I actually really like onions but I had to take half off. Don't know if I will come back.. there's other places within a 5 mile radius so I'll check them out next time.

Best Mediterranean food in AZ hands down, sorry princess market but it's true. Always fresh, hot and delicious. We can't go more than a month without an order.
