Not as good as it used to be but it's still a lovely place to go but take plenty of monry.
Very disappointed even after seeing the bad reviews i thought i would give it a shot. Walked in no employees around stood around for 10 mins before anyone even approached us to sit. We sat down took another 15 mins before someone came to even ask if we wanted a drink by that time we ordered our food as well when the food came it was cold and the steak was like beef jerky horrible place dont waste your time here. Never again!
Absolutely delicious food and mango margaritas. Lunch specials were varied and delicious and just the correct size. We were a large group of ladies, 24 in all, and they had the tables all set up for us. Despite being short staffed we never wanted for ANYTHING. Our waitress was super sweet and extremely efficient. Highly recommend this charming restaurant.
Rebecca is a true asset to this location. She is an amazing person who will bend over backwards to make you happy. She is such a positive person and you are lucky to have her as your General Manager. The atmosphere is on point and amazing! I almost always get the salmon enchiladas. They are delicious!
Beautiful atmosphere and food is terrific! Bring an appetite, servings are great at filling up the tummy. One-of our favorite restaurants. Recommend highly.
Unfortunately the place is very understaffed. I was here a couple's years back and loved it. This time around the food was cold for some of the people I went with. The orders were messed up. They forgot two of our drinks for 10 minutes until we reminded them. One person didn't get their food until we reminded them. I wouldn't go until they ratify these problems.
Dinner, drinks, and tip was $102.00. The drinks were good but way too over priced and the food was mediocre. Will not be back....EVER !!!
So we decided to share the Enchiladas...Spinach & Chicken. So yummy everytime I go. Its beautiful outside. Great decor, food...service ( give them grace!) And the experience. Must go when in Az.
It all started with the atmosphere...it was decorated to make you feel as if the main dining room was a small town square with faux balconies at the top of the two-story open room. There was tons of Mexican flair making it a fun and relaxing atmosphere. It was clean and well taken care of. I loved the different colored Mexican tiles on top of each dining table!I ordered the sweet pork burrito with butternut squash sauce and it came with rice and black beans. It was outstanding! One of the absolute best Mexican dishes I have ever had!!! Portions were large enough that my husband couldn't quite finish his complete dish and I was able to eat half and bring home the other half for lunch the next day, and we walked away completely satisfied. The staff was friendly, polite, quick, and efficient. They took excellent care of us.I don't live in Mesa, but the next time I visit I can guarantee that this restaurant will be on my "must visit" list!!!
The 20 min wait promised turned out to be a 45 min wait. Young woman at front presented ad overwhelmed n did not jump in to bus a couple of tables which would have helped. Food just ok. Waiter good but still I would not recommend .

Really, really disappointed in what this place has become. Food wasn’t great, not enough staff, waitress forgot my order. It used to be so good!
This place is awesome! It's got a great atmosphere and the food was really good. Our servers name was barb and she was friendly and helpful.
Not sure why they changed it to Tia Rosas but the food, atmosphere, service, prices (higher!) are all different! We loved Rosa’s and it was always consistent. Will definitely miss the way it used to be!
Its been 7 years since ive been here and boy have things changed. This was my favorite restaurant as a minor and now its just a husk of what it once was. Old stale chips, reused beans and rice from the day before dry meat in every meal we ordered. The sauces they pour over the food the only redeeming quality. Save yourself the 25 dollars per person and avoid this disappointment.
We have loved this food for years. It is not your run of the mill Tex-Mex. My wife raved about her spinach enchiladas. Great ambiance with a terrific staff. We will eat here again and again.
