I had been talking to Kevin and Owner Chasie about doing an event at the Handlebar Diner and decided to go check it out before hand sort of undercover. I wasn’t too hungry and not in the mood for one of their famous burgers as I had a burger for lunch so I opted for the buffalo. This buffalo chicken wrap and onion rings are fantastic! Jesslyn was busy and on it and just a delight to be around! Chassis built a killer staff. The staff was helpful and obviously happy even though busy. Kids and pet friendly and mostly seating is outside. I recommend.
We have attended thia restaurant several times and always have good service and great food. A good pub with constant quality in service and portions
What a sweet find we always check Trip advisor and have never been disappointed Wonderful staff Cozy atmosphere Great food And live music. Win win win
Excellent food, huge portions, most items can be made gluten free. It was safe for our celiac kid and we took a LOT of leftovers back to the place where we were staying. Staff was SO NICE (seriously, the people in Arizona are among the nicest I've ever met). Worth it if you are in the area, and a great option if you're planning on driving any portion of the Apache Trail.
Great food, great beers! We had fish tacos, steak tacos and the special of smoked brisket. Super nice staff!
This is a very eclectic restaurant. The food was good, but it was not that busy and it took 45 mins to get our food. That was disappointing for sure.
Disgusting sewer gas right by the tables gross mixed with soap toilet flushing right by the dining area. No thank you. Restaurants are such a hit and miss these days not recommended been there many times never had a good meal
We came here on a recommendation from the Superstition Museum staff. We sat outside on the patio which was cooled by some larger swamp Coker’s but not noisy. Staff were all very friendly. Place was clean and the food was very very good. Not typical bar food. Two of us had the special of the day which was smoked baked potatoes with brisket or pulled pork. Excellent! Wish it was closer to where we live because we’d go more often.
Took my brother out for his birthday! Perfect spot for lunch or dinner. Service was great, food was very good! I would definitely go back!
Wow!! This place has made a complete 180 and is absolutely fantastic now. We went before the new owners were in there and swore we would never return. After seeing so many great reviews we had to try again. We decided to order delivery. Two burgers. Cali nugs, parm fries. I laughed when it said it would be 25 min. No way. Not a chance. Yes way! They were there in 22 minutes! Burgers were delish! Fries amazing. Cali nugs… just do it. Believe me. Side salad was huge and super fresh. Only a $2 add on? Y’all have to be losing money on that. That’s it. Super fast. Great food. Awesome value. What’s not to love?

What a great place! Everyone was so nice & the food was great. Loved the different beer choices. Will definitely go back to this fabulous place.
My wife and I were on our way through to present our research papers at the University of Arizona. She is Taiwanese and had never been to the real southwest, with its unique culture. Apache, with its acres--miles--of winter migrant elderly wasn't a good example. We were hungry, thus, the Handlebar Pub and Grill was our choice, as we hate the usual national/international McDonalds clones. The food was different in odd ways, but not unlike that of all too many other such places throughout the country. The harder they try to be unique, the more they are alike in their lack of imagination and quality. They share the main ingredient--a generous amount of grease and sodium. This joint tried to hard in its décor to be something semi-western, but what? I have traveled throughout all of Arizona many times, and I know the best, healthiest restaurants, non of which are in Apache Junction. The Handle, though, best attracts elderly outlaw bikers. The bottom line is that our much more sophisticated palates needed cleansing with Perrier that we had in our Porsche 911.
Cute unique little bar and restaurant. Outside seating. Variety of beers and food. Service was good. Busy little place at meal times.
Peppercorn burger is yummy and the grilled vegetables are excellent. They also offer a plethora of beers to choose from, and the service was timely and efficient.
Have been twice, excellent food and service. Selection is nothing like typical sports bar. Beer and wine only. All sides are smoked/bbq as well as food nor fryers. A must to try
