It was very nice. Went hear to grab a drink with a friend and listen to the live music. It was a great atmosphere. I enjoyed the drink, espresso martini. I would definitely say it would be a great little place for a date night if youre not into crowds or bars.

Hava Java has been a wonderful staple in Mesa and I have loved coming here for the last 6+ years. From morning study sessions to quick bites after being on the river, Hava Java has always been my go-to! With that being said, I’ve been considering leaving this review for almost a year. Unfortunately, I have had several interactions with staff that have finally prompted me to say something. What used to be a consistently positive interaction with (past) staff has declined into less than welcoming, stale customer service. I have had several baristas consistently talk to myself and (other customers) as if we are an inconvenience for ordering. Having worked in customer service, I can completely empathize with having an “off day”. It totally happens; we’re all human. But in my experience, this has been a consistent issue. Beyond the staff having a generally unwelcoming energy, I would still enthusiastically recommend the establishment on all other grounds. I’m hoping that this issue may be taken into consideration because I genuinely love this coffee shop and would like to continue coming here.
