If you're in the mood for authentic, flavorful, and heartwarming Chinese cuisine, Heng's Kitchen is a must-visit. This charming family-run restaurant is a true gem, operated by a dedicated mom-and-dad team who bring a personal touch to every dish.

During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying several dishes, each of which was a standout in its own right. The chili wontons were a delightful start—perfectly cooked, with a spicy kick that tantalized the taste buds without overwhelming them. The wontons were generously filled and had a wonderful balance of flavors.

The mapo tofu was another highlight. It arrived at the table steaming hot and was bursting with rich, savory flavors. The tofu was tender and soaked up the spicy, aromatic sauce beautifully, making each bite a satisfying experience.

For those who enjoy adventurous eats, the pork ears were a revelation. They were prepared with a fantastic blend of spices and seasonings, delivering a unique, crunchy texture and a depth of flavor that was both bold and satisfying.

What truly sets Heng's Kitchen apart is its warm, welcoming atmosphere. The personal touch of being a family-owned restaurant adds a special charm, and it's evident that a lot of care goes into their cooking. The owners’ passion for their food shines through in every dish they serve.

Went here twice. I ordered beef noodle soup the first time and the chowmien noodles with egg rolls the second time. I love the noodle dishes but the egg rolls are a bit underwhelming for its price (having eaten so many egg rolls my whole life).

Been here multiple times and the food is always great. Lady at register is always sweet. The food is always tasty and fresh. Mekong has been around for years so it has that old school feel.

Wow. I figured it wouldn't be #1 Wok quality, being in the Mekong Market mall. It was worse. Rubbery meat that they tried to tenderize like your typical fake Chinese restaurant, but just look at that supposed kung pao chicken. It tasted as bad as it looked. Literally the only taste was salt. Even the onions didn't have taste. They just threw peanuts on top. How could they serve that? I returned that dish. Then the kids couldn't even bite through the beef. Beef with broccoli is lame and fake, but it's hard to screw up. I left it all on the table for them to see. No more Mekong restaurants for us. Even the rice was bad. SMH. Just eat at home. Place is going downhill fast!

Heng’s Kitchen is conveniently located in the Mekong Plaza. I tried the beef noodle stew (non spicy version) and it was wonderful! The broth had so much flavor. The beef cuts were lean and large. I left my bowl spotless!I will be returning to this restaurant in the future. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!

The spicy chicken is different from the spicy chicken I imagined and knew. This is not spicy chicken, right? Ushikawa is delicious and reasonably priced.
