How unfortunate that the HenHouse has very limited options for those that don’t eat pork. How difficult is it to offer a non pork option for patrons? I love potatoes, hash browns etc. with my breakfast. They offer potatoes that are rendered in bacon fat. It was naive of me not to ask about the corned beef hash but it was negligent on behalf of the waitress to not advise me about the potatoes when I asked if they had an alternative for the pork sausage gravy for chicken fried steak. Either way I left there without eating anything. The manager was very apologetic.

Sitting at the bar and having to listen to an off the clock employee cuss & swear up a storm isn't cool...this is a family restaurant buddy

You guys also need to revamp the menu...extremely way too much pork on the menu between all the bacon, sausage, chorizo, etc

I was delighted by the high quality of my breakfast; delicious potatoes cooked in bacon grease (?), very good sausage and eggs along with rye toast and of course coffee, with REAL half & half, not fake, non- dairy creamer.
Never underestimate a local, family owned restaurant over a chain. I'm impressed.

Parking: Just off 202 and Dobson.

As my wife and I were walking into the restaurant to enjoy breakfast, we were stopped and told my wife was not allowed to bring her outside coffee that she just purchased into the restaurant. I understand the spirit of this rule, but you just lost $50 and a lifetime customer because of this.

The portions here are UNBELIEVABLE! You will not leave hungry. They have lots of tables to seat families and a private dining area for larger parties. My kids ordered the kids pancake platter and it was at least 12” in diameter, plus it came with eggs and sausage or bacon. The blueberry lemon mascarpone pancakes are delicious and thick! My only suggestion is that they give you a pizza cutter for cutting up these giant pancakes.
Skyler was our waitress and she was very attentive. The manager came by and checked on us to make sure we were well taken care of.
Bottom line… the prices are great, the portions are HUGE, freshly made, and delicious, and the service was great! We will be back again.

Excellent food and service! Friendly staff . manager came around and greeted us and then checked back during the meal to see how food was. Ended up bringing part of meal home . Great atmosphere. Guys playing cards at the table next to us. Homey place. Going to be one of my regular spots for sure..

Giant pancakes, but overall we ate brunch and they didn't clean the grills well cause the French toast had a lemon flavor and the plain pancakes had a pumpkin flavor. Wasn't bad but wasn't good
