Great pizza and the owner Zack is awesome!!! I typically just get a cheese pizza as that is more my style but have tried the pepperoni and supreme pizzas as well. Everything I have had is very good. The best part of the pizza is the crust, it's so bomb!!

I'm a pizza snot. I've eaten pizza in New York, Chicago and many other states and countries. We are in Mesa for a couple of months this winter. My wife found High Stakes on line and we all agreed the pizza looks great. The reviews looked good so I called them to see if they would deliver to our location. The guy on the phone wasn't sure but said if we went online to order it would tell us if our address was in their delivery area. He was friendly and helpful and gave me a code for a discount if we got to order. We went online ordered gave them our address and credit card. They deliver to us. After we ordered they confirmed the order then sent a text they were in the way and gave us the time it would be here. Then they text and said Aly was close. We couldn't wait. The pizza arrived on the exact time they said it would. Aly was fun and friendly. I probably should have started with this, but their pizza is AMAZING. We will be ordering from them at as much as possible. If you love pizza like I do, try it it's great.

Delicious!! First time ordering from here. We did pickup and upon arriving my wife was greeted with friendly service! They gave a really cool idea for their rewards by using playing cards to make poker hands! The food was amazing, pizza with their “High Stakes Sauce” is phenomenal!

This place is a unique secret pizza place...it is not an "eat" in pizzeria. Either pick up or delivery...The pizza is high quality. It really needs to be added to the "One Bite" app! By Dave Portnoy's scoring, I give it an 8.2 score. Zach, the owner is very friendly and accommodating! I had picky instructions in regards to my pie. I like my crust thinner and crispy New Haven style. He cooked it perfectly. It was a tasty, great ratio of sauce, cheese, and toppings. We ordered the New York large, and even with the large slices there was not much flop...very tasty! Thank you Zach, myself and Joy will be return customers!

High stakes has easily become our go to spot for quality pizza. Amazing dough, crushed tomato sauce with cheese and toppings you can’t get at a franchise. High stakes does it right and even has a rewards program for return customers.

The garlic cheese bread that was made on very thin pizza dough was very garlicky and pretty good. The pizza was not good. We had a combo pizza and tossed out 1/2 of it because nobody wanted it.

First of all, this was near impossible to find. It's in a building that used to sell seafood. There is no signage for High Stakes Pizza other than an small paper sign on the window. The pizza was chock full of sausage and pepperoni, neither of which had a good taste! The sauce was also "unique," but not pleasant. We each attempted to get through a single piece of pizza and then ended up tossing it. $28.00+ wasted!
