I have been eating sushi for 5 decades. I have been to "the best" sushi joints in various States. So I was prepared for mediocrity when I found this humble little mom-and-pop place, tucked away on the southeast quadtrant of Hwy 60 & Stapely. My wife doesn't eat sushi, so she gets the tempura and the gyoza. We were amazed by the quality and flavor of everything! The sushi is excellent and is actually in the top 5% of the nearly 200 places I've been. I usually stick with my faves, but I've been on a quest to find something on their sushi menu that I WOULDN'T like. I feel like I will have to go through the entire menu, and may not find anything!
The service is always great (we visit just about every week, from 25 miles away), and we are hooked on the place! Part of me wants to stay silent about House Sushi because I don't want the secret to get out!!

I enjoyed their unique sushi rolls here, they have great pricing for what they offer, very fresh and tasty. We tried a few different rolls at our table and loved all of them. I like that their spicy stuff is actually spicy!

The food has always been impeccable here. It seems like an hole in the wall place, no ostentatious decor or anything like that. Just simple and unpretentious. Thats why we come here when we want sushi. The service is friendly and the servings aren’t meager either.

This place is always amazing. It's turned into a joke with friends and family about not even bothering to ask where I want to eat, because it is always here.

Dietary restrictions: Ironically my husband is allergic to seafood. However he gets a chicken dish and we've never had any cross contamination issues. We don't even bother to say anything anymore about his allergies because he's never gotten sick.

Make no mistake. The "What The Heck" 8pc roll was serious! (Soft-shell crab & shrimp tempura topped with avocado, spicy tuna, seasonings and sauce) [the little tiny cubes of what looked like red bell pepper, or cherry tomato was decorative as a detail topping- this roll was a piece of art]
Miso soup was good! We are coming back to try some other sushi rolls. Much respect. House Sushi is underrated!!!
