We love coming to this IHOP on Higley and Brown Rd. Maria and Eva are always such wonderful servers to our family and all of our kids. When we cannot make it into the restaurant, we usually order on UberEats or DoorDash.
One morning, when several of my kids’ friends were over, we placed a delivery order and a couple of items ended up missing. Here is where the above and beyond service began. I received an email from UberEats asking if the order was accurate, so I reported the issue. UberEats then told me there was nothing they could do about it.
I decided to call the restaurant directly, and the manager, Chris, immediately knew which order it was. He explained that he himself had notified UberEats that part of the order had been forgotten, but the driver refused to come back for it. In the past, other restaurants have simply told us to pick up the missing items if we wanted them.
Not Chris. He hand delivered the missing items to our home and even offered two complimentary entrees for the next time we visited. When we returned the following week, the team honored that promise without hesitation.
What a great place. We were and continue to be grateful for this level of care. Truly above and beyond customer service.
