My new favorite place! Great people, wonderful variety on their menu and yummy food. Absolutely LOVE being able to order anything on the menu without having to worry about contamination from gluten and dairy.

My son and I stopped in for lunch after checking out the cat cafe next door. My son had the breaded nuggets with fries and I had the tacos. Our food came out and it was delicious. We chatted for a little while, the atmosphere was super relaxed and my picky eater son said we had to come back again. I agree 100%, we will definitely be back again…..

I went here with my boyfriend on a whim, just cause. Place was quiet at the time, but the atmosphere was relaxing for a Saturday afternoon. Waitress, owner, and cook (owner's husband) were so nice. I had a sandwich with fries and aieoli sauce. The bread was freshly made (gluten free), the meat was tender, the fries were the freshest I've ever eaten, and the aieoli sauce was to die for. I was blown away! I had to order another meal to go cuz it was so dang good. My boyfriend got a carne asada sandwich which was delicious. He ordered another meal to go as well. I told the owner that I may not be gluten free, but I'm a huge fan! My uncle is on a strict gluten free diet due to his health, so when I ordered him some during his visit he was in absolute tears on how good it was. I never really write reviews, but I HAD to for this. Whether your gluten free, watching your figure, or just hungry like I was, it's worth trying.

Have you ever been to a place and immediately felt like you entered a private country club as an honorary member. Well that's the vibe you get here. I have never felt such geniuene warmth from the staff, to the guests. This place was clearly built on love. They specialize in allergy free food ( I have no food allergies) which also happens to make their food the healthiest of any kind as each ingredient they but into anything they goes thru an extensive research process. Quality you can taste

I cannot express how much it means to me & my son that we found Intentional Foods (IF) in Mesa, AZ. We happen to be in Gilbert AZ for the week and made a point of visiting Intential Foods. This restaurant is completely safe for for my son as he is allergic to Eggs, Tree Nuts, Peanuts & Sesame. For the first time ever he was able to have whatever he wanted without interrogating the staff and doing extensive research before ordering. He even got to have dessert which almost never happens. He reported that it was the best cookie he’s ever had. As an allergy parent seeing the joy in my sons face about being around safe food and people that understand his allergies/anxiety is priceless. Even the staff was amazing. Please visit them if you are ever in Mesa, AZ this food was delicious.

Such a wonderful find! GF bread baked fresh. Spectacular soups, salads & sammies. Best gf lemon cookie ever. The beverage bar is fab, too (try the turmeric lemonade). Owners and staff welcoming and very protective of diners with food allergies. Thank you for a lovely lunch. We’ll be back next visit!

Tried the hash bowl and it wasn't what I expected but it was amazing. Quality ingredients for sure and if was very filling. Good upbeat music and nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Can't wait to bring my friends and try other items on the menu.

Healthy and delicious! My favorite lunch place in Phoenix. I don’t have to worry about any dairy or gluten in any of the food, but most importantly: it is sooo delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

I just ordered the so cal bowl with extra beans, and got no beans at all. Piad for extra, got none.

Amazing little mom and pop store with great friendly service and nice bathrooms and the atmosphere overall is really nice! The food also has gluten free with just the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had and can accommodate all types of dietary restrictions like allergies to avocado or tree nuts. The menu is a bit small but everything is super yummy and they have sweet potatoes and great desserts too!

Dietary restrictions: Very good for people with dietary restrictions, definitely recommend!

Kid-friendliness: Somewhat kid friendly, they have a kid section but it’s pretty limited and meat heavy.

I visited this place shortly after it caught my attention online. It did not disappoint. I'm simply claim that it's probably THE CLEANEST WHOLEFOODS I've tasted and eaten at a restaurant in the entire Valley, beside the fact that it was also delicious!!! I instantly became a fan!

Insanely good food, great customer service, atmosphere is so beautiful and relaxing and romantic, the BLAT , bread extra toasted, add chicken to it and fries extra crispy with extra aioli and lemons on the side for everything is my go to order! Amazing ! I love coming here (even though I do not have any allergies only my boyfriend) it’s still a GREAT place to grab a bite! 10/10 small business I recommend it to anyone and everyone !

Vegetarian options: Avocado toast, salads, sides, desserts, Rotner fries ; anything can be made vegetarian !
