The single greatest place to save money if you want to go drink. Sometimes I got some really good entertainment in there and awesome pool tables

I’m from Milwaukee and was unaware of this place. I was driving by when visiting and decided to drop in. Nice low-key environment. I would recommend.

Googled dive bars in Mesa, this one was first on the list. Since no one has named their child Kay since the 60's, I was expecting an older crowd. Website stated Karaoke on Saturday nights so I go check it out. I'm 59yo, white, 5'5" with no history of violence and no criminal record. Upon entering, I'm approached by an African American bouncer that looks like he just broke out of Rikers, ID's me and pats me down for a weapon. The crowd consisted of early to middle aged Mexicans and African Americans that looked like career criminals. I doubt there was one person who was not a felon. No Karaoke, DJ playing gangster rap. What type of establishment considers someone like me a potential threat, when they cater to that kind of patrons. Unless this is already your go to hang out, save yourself the harassment and move on to the next place. Gotta ask yourself, why is a little bar in Mesa ok with operating under the pretence that having to pat down patrons. The broken window theory, you allow thugs into your bar, you expect thugs to come into your bar. There it is, I said what I said!
