Came to this place to buy a cake for my son's 12th birthday The gentleman that helped us WE BOTH COULD TELL THAT HIS ATTITUDE TOWARD US WAS NOT FRIENDLY. I personally think that it was because I'm a black guy and he has a problem with black people, but my son's mother is Mexican and they conversed about the cake in Spanish totally ignoring the fact that I was there and had input, he only took input from her in Spanish, she likes the place because they make the Mexican cakes the way she likes. But I'm paying my money. The reason I making this statement while we were looking at the books a white lady came in with her kids and he was just as friendly and helpful but when he got back to us he changed his attitude and was less pleasant and courteous, personally I'll advise black people and all of her spanish-speaking friends, and family not to do business, because of his attitude toward people who are black.

I don’t have complains with the food it’s really tasty the 3 leches cake it’s stunning . BUT The owner customer service it’s sucks he even bully at you if you don’t say the right words he’s always with a grinch face and make feel like you’re not welcome there .

I love the pan dulce, it's not overly sweet like a everywhere else. The level of sweetness is perfect. I'm in Phoenix but will go all the way to mesa just for their pan.

I bought them a cake for my daughter. For her birthday, I bought them a cake from the display case, one of those that are already ready. I asked them to put red letters on the dedication and they gave me the box already closed. It seemed strange to me. When I got home I opened it. and it had yellow letters that lack of professionalism I have bought from them for years but this is the last time I am going to buy from them and they serve you very reluctantly.

The cakes are not bad. Don't trust their hours tho, we arrived 18 minutes before their posted closing hour and they were already closed.
They took a last minute order from me and did an amazing job- beautiful work, good flavor; super friendly!

I am a very patient person, but ordering here over the phone is a nightmare. Every time I call, I get answered by a lady who always seems to have a negative attitude in her voice. On this last occasion, I called to place a cake order and she put me on hold. This is very common here, and I'm okay with it because I understand that it can be busy. However, to be put on hold for 24 minutes and then hung up on, I found disrespectful and rude. When I called again, she continued with the same attitude when I asked her why they hung up on me. I didn't mind being on hold for almost 30 minutes, but being hung up on did bother me.
She explained that if a customer comes in, they get priority. I guess I can understand that, but a customer on the phone is also a customer. She said she works alone, which I also understand, but it doesn't seem right for her to be rude. I asked her what was the best time to call when other employees are present, and she said she didn't know because the manager is never around and she is alone. Then he said he had to put me on hold again because a customer came in.
I have decided not to continue ordering here, and I advise others not to call to place an order because they will be put on hold. I suggest that they hire more staff to help her or ask the customer in person to wait a couple of minutes while you serve the customer on the phone.
