We have a favorite buffet place, but we thought we'd give Lin's a try. Food was no where near the quality that we are familar with. Everything was fried or of the canned variety. I saw employees behind food stations eating from their hands - very disheartening. I guess this place has a certain clientele, but there is definitely better choices available.

***Update 04/09/2024***I am sad to report I had to update my initial review from three years ago. I had the absolute WORST experience not even trying to interact with the chef running steaks…etc. That guy is absolutely the RUDEST person I have EVER dealt with in the entire restaurant industry! I made an honest mistake while trying the baked fritters at his station by accidentally cross contaminating the pastry using the same spatula to pick up what I thought was the same items. It ended up one was peach and the other was apple but they looked Identical to me. This imbecile decided it was best to correct me by getting loud and nasty and creating a scene in front of the other customers and then proceeded to tell me how to do his job because of food allergies. My apologies Chef NOT Ramsey but you didn’t have to blow your top to get your point across. Lucky I was not in a sassy mood as I just apologized after having to put my hand up to get him to stop yelling at me for something I am not trained in and making an honest mistake.Last time I checked I don’t work at Lin’s and if I did guaranteed that gentleman wouldn’t talk to anyone like that and needs retraining or a serious attitude adjustment.To my final point, my family and I will NEVER return to this location as it’s too expensive to eat out as it is, but to be treated like that is UNACCEPTABLE and HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL not to mention will lead to a restaurant with zero profitability. Good luck with this guy on the payroll. You went from 5 stars to one star in one trip. That’s just amazing!!! Great job Lin’s Chef!!!!AND IF ITS THAT SERIOUS (which I understand it is for folks with food allergies) PUT UP A GOSH DARN SIGN EVERYWHERE!!!!!It’s not hard to fix this and remind folks that don’t work in food service to help prevent this issue.*******End of Update *********Anxious for the new Lin’s Grand Buffet to open!3 months later... I chose my foods base on my buffet at home in Pittsburgh PA. My expectations for quality were well met. A few favorites (stuffed clams, baked mussels and baked scallops) were not offered, this the score of 4. I liked the friendly staff, and the set-up of the food display.

This is my favorite Chinese Buffet to go to. Sundays are packed , but Saturdays are good . The food was on point and the server was very attentive. Good selection of food and the bbq grill I love !
April 03, 2024 220pm worst customer service by the head manager here or atleast I assume shes the manager. . They dont charge me correctly. I grab my food with my family. Then they have the nerve to approach me treat me like a thief. like I lied to the lady at the front. I told her the correct amount of people and kids. You didnt charge me correctly and then have the nerve to attack me for payment. Your mistake not mine. Worst customer service ever.
