It's called Royal Taco now. I enjoy authentic Mexican food not Texmex. Real Mexican is about simple flavors not heat. I tasted that here. I had the Chicken Enchilada plate. They were delicious! Everything was delicious! The gentleman behind the counter was helpful, friendly, and answered all my questions. I will be back to try other dishes. The price is competitive a little cheaper than the same meal at other family dinners.
First time in. Had carne asada tacos. Juicy and delicious. Next day, went around 2pm, had the same thing. Dry and flavorless. Super disappointing. I guess it depends on when you go in. Otherwise great service.
This is my partner and I's favorite Mexican place. Meal for two under $15, including sides, extras, and a HUGE drink. Food never disappoints! I really hope the Taco Kings remodel doesn't change anything but the look.
