I'd really love to try this place but every single time I've come they've been closed (during business hours) Every single time.
Great coffee, comfy vibes.

I love this place! I've been trying to find a coffee shops like this for ages. Cozy, quiet, friendly, warm, and non-pretentious with reasonable prices. I think I will be coming here a lot to work and read 🙏

Great place. Once you try a bag of Lost Dutchman's fresh roasted coffee you will NEVER go back to grocery store coffee. Order on-line, pick your favorite bean (or try a new one) and it’s usually fresh roasted in 1-3 days for pickup. Or if you’re lucky, you can grab a bag in the store if its not all sold out.
They also make a great cappuccino, and the girls behind the counter are always very friendly and they even take the time to talk to this old guy!
You wont be sorry. Walk, bike, drive there, order your favorite coffee drink and hang out for a bit! It’s worth the trip.

I used to like this place, and came here almost every day with my friends during our lunch hour. However, the last two times we've been, we've been kicked out.
The first time, the baristas and presumed owner gossiped about us the whole time we were there, one of them (the one with the bangs) saying that she was "tired of babysitting us" (we're almost adults, don't need you to "babysit us", and haven't disrupted business at all + other students have come here *without issue*). Then, when we were about to leave, the owner came up to us and said that this, "isn't a place to hang out," despite a couple of us buying something, and told us to leave, even though other people had been there for *hours*, doing the exact same thing as us.
The second time (today), we decided to come back as a test, and as a farewell to their, admittedly, good sodas/other products. There was no barista at the counter, and almost all of us were going to order, so we were just waiting there (not very good service). Then, the owner came out again and told us that we were never welcome here again, that we were "disrespectful", targeting my Black friend *specifically* and saying he kicked the door?? He used his foot to open the door, is all.
This, sadly, is not a new occurrence here. They've (barista with the bangs) been rude to him and *only* him in the past, and none of the rest of us until these two instances.
Don't go here unless you're okay with a rude, discriminatory worker and owner (with other passive ones doing *nothing* about it, despite being generally nice to us previously) who apparently discourage willing customers. Because they've just lost 5+ with their actions.

I used to love coming to this coffee shop to get lunch during my lunch hour at school, my friends and I would go get lunch and sit and eat till it's time to go back to school (we are there at most 30 minutes), Until my friends were kicked out unfairly, I was not present when this occurred but I had been there 5 minutes prior. My friends had bought food yet they had been kicked out for "not having food" so they could not stay. My friends thought this was a one time thing but we went back again, before we had the chance to even order we were approached by the owner, he SPECIFICALLY called out my black friend (the rest of us are white) then kicked us out saying we were no longer allowed back. We have never done anything against the rules now we are no longer allowed. It is absolutely tragic, I had high hopes for this place yet the employees trashed its reputation. With this rude behavior they now lost 5 loyal customers.

Cozy downtown spot with some strong coffee 😎
I really liked it here and love to support local
businesses. Unfortunately I witnessed the owner kicking a few kids out who were not doing anything wrong. Two of the kids had made purchases and when the kid showed him, he extended his arm out and pointed toward the door. It was incredibly rude and you can see the shock on their faces. It was such a poor example of what an adult should be modeling to our youth. How we treat others is a direct reflection of our values.
