The food use to be amazing. But now its just way over priced and the quality has tanked sadly. The meat tasted like it was old in the chimney and fajitas. Spent over 40 dollars for fajitas for 2 and they only gave us 2 small tortillas total. I asked for two more at very least since we got the fajitas for 2. They acted like i asked for a million dollars cash and gurss what they charged me another 2 dollars for 2 more small tortillas. Thats 4 in total for the two person meal absolutely ridiculous. The chips and salsa are definitely the highlight with the Lakeview. But the service was rude and makes you feel uninvited. I really hope they can get this place back to the glory days 🙏

Went to the Goodyear location on a Tuesday. I don’t know when they changed the way they make their crispy fried tacos but we got tacos in a pre-deepfried shell with soupy shredded beef with tomatoes and onion in the beef. Worst food I’ve had there.

A great place, it was a little uncomfortably warm though.

The taste of the food seems to have dropped as the original owners sold and now it's becoming a chain. Still good, just not as good as it used to be

Haven't been to Macayo's in quite some time and now I'm remembering why. Went to this location at 2pm today and received no service at all. We were seated by our server who didn't want to seat us at all. Chips and drinks were brought over right away and we placed our order right away. The restaurant was dead hardly any other customers around. The sever never came back to our table to check in after we placed our order. 20 minutes rolled around, then another 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes. I looked at my husband and said I'm going to find someone to check on our order. I finally located another server to check things out. She came over to our table refilled our chips & drinks, then said the Manager would be over. He finally came over and I explained how long we've been waiting on our food. He then came back to tell us the server never wrote our order down and therefore he didn't put the order in. 45 minutes of waiting for no reason. I looked at the Manager and said we're not waiting anymore for you to now write our order down and make it. I stormed out and left. No service at all and a waste of my afternoon. If I could rate my experience & review with no stars I absolutely would. Really disappointed but not surprised by the type of service I received.

The fire pit at the entrance grabbed my attention both for its beauty and warmth. That glow stayed throughout the meal, the house chimi-
changa.
From the lake outside, easily viewed through the picture windows, to the colorful chairs and serapis, this Macayo's on Dobson was both a visual and epicurian feast, made even better by excellent service.
