The taste of the food seems to have dropped as the original owners sold and now it's becoming a chain. Still good, just not as good as it used to be

Haven't been to Macayo's in quite some time and now I'm remembering why. Went to this location at 2pm today and received no service at all. We were seated by our server who didn't want to seat us at all. Chips and drinks were brought over right away and we placed our order right away. The restaurant was dead hardly any other customers around. The sever never came back to our table to check in after we placed our order. 20 minutes rolled around, then another 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes. I looked at my husband and said I'm going to find someone to check on our order. I finally located another server to check things out. She came over to our table refilled our chips & drinks, then said the Manager would be over. He finally came over and I explained how long we've been waiting on our food. He then came back to tell us the server never wrote our order down and therefore he didn't put the order in. 45 minutes of waiting for no reason. I looked at the Manager and said we're not waiting anymore for you to now write our order down and make it. I stormed out and left. No service at all and a waste of my afternoon. If I could rate my experience & review with no stars I absolutely would. Really disappointed but not surprised by the type of service I received.

The fire pit at the entrance grabbed my attention both for its beauty and warmth. That glow stayed throughout the meal, the house chimi-
changa.
From the lake outside, easily viewed through the picture windows, to the colorful chairs and serapis, this Macayo's on Dobson was both a visual and epicurian feast, made even better by excellent service.

Service sucks here. This is the 3rd time we went to this location and waited 15 mins at our table with no service. No chips water, nothing the waitress just walked around and didn't even acknowledge we were there. So we walked out. I'm never going to this location again. It's now been this way 3x strike out.

Food wasn't as good as I remembered. They changed the menu so maybe something was off there.

Food was good. Service was good, but kinda slow for not having a ton of people there.

The grilled chicken tacos was cold and tasted like it came out of store bought chicken strips. Food has gone down hill.

I am a regular and always get great service. On this last visit they were swamped with a few large parties and even then, Shawna took the time to go above and beyond with a smile. Really appreciate that! 🙏🏻💕✨
