I honestly wish I took a picture of my bowl before devouring it. Ha
I ordered their veggie vegan and they did not disappoint on flavor, and presentation. I make a lot of vegan foods for different vendors and restaurants and I’m blown away from their flavors. I won’t go anywhere else but here to order Mac n cheese. Spot on delicious. 10/10. 5 out of 5 adults approved. Thank you again!!

I am so ecstatic this place popped up on my google search looking for Keto foods in Arizona because otherwise you would never have known. Not only do they have vegan, Gluten free, vegetarian options but KETO Mac and cheese! I haven’t had a bowl of Mac and cheese since I was a teen as I started Keto over a decade ago. The ooey gooey cheese, the customizable options of what toppings, what cheese, the portion, absolutely is insane and so delicious. I got extra keto mac, extra yellow cheese, pesto drizzle and Parmesan topping and it is heaven. I feel like a kid again and so happy my husband and I drove 40 minutes from Scottsdale to get here. They also have keto cookies and keto garlic knots, the knots are more lightly garlic buns so they’re still cool to get and make a little sandwich with later, but not garlic knots per se but still keto!! The chocolate chips are not made by them but still cool because keto is so hard to find. I wish they were closer because I don’t know how often we can do a 40 minute commute for lunch, but will definitely run here anytime we’re remotely in the area. So glad you all exist! Also worth mentioning this place is drive thru only!

I was thrilled to find a place close to the hospital that had lots of gluten free options ... and that was quick. I didn't realize it's only a takeout place. Drive thru to order and pick up. No dining room, which was fine since I wanted to be quick anyway. I just don't like feeling rushed in a drive thru line (but they were patient and answered my questions). It's all build your own mac and cheese. Lots of options for gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan. I just didn't love the food. It wasn't bad, it just tasted like white Velveeta cheese sauce on macaroni with added meat and veggies, which is essentially what it was. I hoped the cheese sauces would be a little better, though I'm sure some love that. What I did love was the gluten free garlic knots. Yum!

The next best thing to a fully vegan restaurant is a restaurant that has great vegan options. So many things are vegan here.We all know that hole in the walls can be the best finds. Here's another one to add to the mix.In the pic is a bowl (vegan cheese, vegan pasta, Beyond crumbles, corn, broccoli, tomatoes and breadcrumbs); garlic knots; strawberry Arnold Palmer and a chocolate chip cookie. In hindsight, I wish I would have ordered a second bowl with their regular pasta (which was verified to be vegan, just not certified). It would have been interesting to compare the two pasta types. I could not tell a difference in the gluten free/vegan pasta though. No funky texture issue or anything. It was really good. The cheese was really flavorful. The garlic knots were soft and delicious. I added more vegan butter to them, but that's just my preference as I like most things dripping in sauce. I'm not sure if they sell a side of the cheese, but it would have been extra yummy to dip the garlic knots into the cheese. It's drive-thru only, so plan to eat the deliciousness in your car or take home. I live about 30 minutes out and everything traveled well.My summary: I will definitely be going back and recommend you try it out. The only thing I will do different next time is order with more cheese in the pasta, so the noodles are swimming in the sauce, but that's me. Everything was very flavorful and delicious on its own.

I ordered anything that I could that was available vegan on their menu. This place has the best Mac n cheese bowls! The last time I went there, the service was excellent and the staff was very kind and attentive. The food was absolutely tasty and as always I could customize my bowl. I highly recommend Make a Mac!

Absolutely delicious!!! My boyfriend and I have been trying to find a place like this that makes Mac n cheese for me after being diagnosed with my celiac. I love love love that they take the precautions for cross contamination to not happen, staff is very knowledgeable about celiac or other food allergies, designated fryers, utensils, etc. are used for celiacs and other food allergies. Carman(I believe that is the spelling of his name) went above and beyond with our first time experience yesterday. We had so many questions to make sure I could safely build my own bowl and he helped deliver the answers to every question and even more. I would highly recommend this place and it is very safe! I’m very sensitive to cross contamination and did not get sick after eating here. THEY EVEN HAVE GLUTEN-FREE GARLIC KNOTS THAT ARE DELICIOUS!!!!

For starters, this location's drive thru isn't obvious. Their singage for the drive-thru needs to be made more obvious. I went through the Mexican food drive thru by accident, and they were confused because they barely spoke any English. I drove back around to see text on the front door saying to use the drive thru, but it doesn't mention the drive thru is on the side of the building. Fix your signage. The food is meh at best. Toppings are just tossed on top and not mixed or cooked together. There's barely enough cheese sauce. The meat isn't seasoned. This is something a teenager can make in about 10 minutes. This is pretty bad, and I won't be coming here again. The pasta was not fully cooked. It was chewy.I had green chilies added. There weren't a lot added. After mixing the ingredients together, MYSELF, I barely even tasted or knew that there were green chilis.I would say the only positives were that the service was quick and the person that handled my order was nice and pleasant. The serving size was decent as well.Flavor the meat. Give more cheese sauce. Fix your signage. You barely deserve the 2 star rating.I know what you're thinking: "This is a fast food place, so what were you expecting?" You may be right. At the same time, I also expected the food to be mixed and cooked together. I shouldn't have to do anything but buy the food and eat it. Otherwise, I might as well have just made this myself. My counterargument would be to look at Fazoli's. Their food quality rivals that of most sit down Italian food restaurants. So, in my opinion, this place has no excuse for the low quality of food I experienced here.

Great mac and cheese! Drive thru only, which was what we planned on anyway. The lady at the drive thru was helpful and friendly. We tried the spiral noodles and the gluten free and both were very good. We will definitely be back.

After hearing about Make a Mac on Facebook, I knew i had to swing by and try it out. The first thing that really surprised me was the pricing. Everything is under $10 and the portion size is great. Do you know how hard it is to find something filling from a drive through for under $10?The other thing that surprised me was how accommodating the menu was to anyone with dietary restrictions. Gluten Free, Keto Friendly, Vegan, and even Celiac friendly. I don't have any restrictions and I just got the Owners Favorite, but I imagine it's really hard for people with diet restrictions to find something good when eating out. Good for the owners for putting in the time and effort to plan all of that out.I had a decent commute home but the food was still hot when I got home and it tasted amazing. I was unsure about the pesto on the Owner's Favorite but it made the bowl come together.Really great place and if you're in the area, give it a try!
