SO happy I found this place. FINALLY a shave ice that does it like Hawaii...for real. I'll be here lots!

We had Marina's Fresh Fruit Shave Ice cater the dessert to our Luau wedding dinner!! It was the best thing we could have ever done. We all loved their fresh fruit puree, fresh fruit chunks, ice cream options and so much more. The pricing was great and the night was perfection! The workers were kind, attentive, and amazing! Absolutely so good. This is the best place by far. We have to go back tomorrow, the next day, the day after and forever!! The young lady up front was so so polite and friendly and so was the gentleman shaving the ice. I really hope this place thrives.

It doesn’t get any more Hawaiian shave ice than this! Marina has brought the best of the islands here to Phoenix - and thank God, because we needed a reprieve from the triple digits we’re already experiencing in May.

If you don’t know the difference between shave ice and shaved ice, please do yourself a favor and try this place out. They even have fresh fruit options and house made syrups.

This place was at a school event and me, my girlfriend and one of our friends decided to get some of it for fun. Our friend ordered first, then me, then my girlfriend and we all paid for a regular (8 dollars). I got Lemon-Lime, Watermelon and Vanilla flavoring on mine. A while later, the guy starts to call Lemon Vanilla. I go, huh, that kinda sounds like my order, but I asked specifically in the order of Lemon-Lime, Watermelon and then Vanilla so it couldn’t have been mine. My girlfriend got hers right after. After a long time of calling this same order of Lemon Vanilla, the guy gives it away to someone else. So, it’s been around 45 minutes now and me and my friend still haven’t gotten our shaved ice. My girlfriend goes up and tells him that me and our friend haven’t gotten our shaved ice and the guy has the audacity to say “Well, we were calling Lemon and Vanilla for a while.” As if that was what I ordered. So, she corrects him and then gets to our friend’s order. He says “Uhm, well we only have the lemon-lime down.” As if me and my friend ordered together. Then, he accuses her of not paying for her order even though we all saw her order and pay. So, my girlfriend has to pay for our friend’s order because the guy wasn’t taking no for an answer. And then, despite us all saying four times when he asked that she wanted a regular, that she did, he gave her a small. Horrible experience, 0/10. Literally the definition of ‘If I could give it a zero, I would, but that’s not possible, so I give it a ONE.’

So the night is going great, right? Me, my girlfriend, and my best friend find a cute little shaving ice truck. So of course, we order. Well, I get mine (after ordering after my gf and friend) and the others are no where In Sight. 45 minutes passes and the other orders are nowhere in sight, still. I go up and demand (politely) where the other orders are. Well, this collage aged man (you know who you are) decides it would be best to scold my gf for “ordering wrong.” I correct him, saying that her order was placed wrong and my friend’s order wasn’t even called. He proceeds to say that my friend’s order was never taken and that we must’ve not ordered it. I argue for a while, but give up and pay AGAIN for my friend’s order. A while later, we get the orders that we paid for TWICE. While angrily eating our ice I realize that my friend (who ordered a regular, TWICE) got a small…SMALL. So yeah, scammed twice, had to pay twice, and had to wait almost an hour to get our food. Plus we paid for a lot more money than we had too.
